I would very much like Edgeworth and Seth to be pals because they're both insufferable pricks. I'm sure it'd give Seth an initial leg up to be bros with a prosecutor and if he's an Ace Schmoozer, Edgeworth will be less likely to suspect anything is up with him.

At the same time I think it would be super great to get him involved in the investigation process because Phoenix and Apollo have magic lie detectors or Superman vision and then all Edgeworth gets in his own game is basic logic every investigation team needs a nerd. Someone vandalizes his office all hopped up on lollipops and when he conducts his own investigation he bumps into other people snooping around? Edgeworth trips balls, someone finds him, goes "yo dude drugs," and they team up to look for proof? Someone in school steals from him and upon being pressed for information they go "GOTTA HAVE MY POPS?" I DON'T KNOW I'm open to suggestions.
