smash_ooc | A Midsummer's Night's CR Meme

It's baaack!

So we have the personals meme for hashing out personal and game-wide plot and even ideas alike. There's always the budding of new CR in those too, but that's never been the focus. That's where this meme comes in! This one exists purefly for the sake of forging new relationships between characters by thoroughly detailing the kinds of people they are, who they'd get along with, and where they'd frequent for finding easy opportunities to have them meet each other! Or maybe they's already met briefly, by sharing the same class or having a friend in common or what have you. That skips the awkward "hey I've never seen you before" phase entirely - unless you want to do that step too, of course!

You can take a look at the proto-meme here. I've tweaked it a little this time around and am always open to suggestions for further improvements!

Dorm Life: Mostly relevant to roommates and immediate neighbours. Are they messy? Loud? Never home? Prone to drinking on the roof? If they live on their own somewhere TOO BAD YOU'RE NOT INVITED TO THIS SECTION
Places frequented: On campus and off. Hey, it's summer, everyone's got to be doing something with their vacation.
Often seen with: Hey, maybe your character has a friend in common with someone else, that can be an ice breaker.

Age: 38. She looks like she's more in her late twenties. I GUESS YOU COULD SAY SHE'S GOT GOOD GENES ha ha ha...
Living Arrangements: A FORMERLY ABANDONED FIREHOUSE located in the forest ~~of illusion~~ surrounding the school. She lives there with Falcon and together they've refurbished and customized the firehouse to suit their needs. Like having a hot tub on the roof. That's totally important.
Class taken/taught: Samus teaches BioMechanical Engineering (cybernetics, bioweapons, etc.) and Armed Weaponry (guns, long-ranged weapons, how to not shoot your eyes out, target practice, etc.) She'll substitute other classes as needed, but begrudgingly. She does not do summer classes.
Clubs involved with: She does not do clubs either. Hobbies include drinkin/boozin, shootin, bounty huntin, mechanical tinkerin.
Other position in school: She's not part of security but if there's a crisis situation, or if the current team is incapacitated for some reason, she can supplement.

Brief summary of character: DRY, NO-NONSENSE BROODY TEACHER... who is actually a space bounty hunter intergalactic hero savior person, who was once part of the space police, who was raised by space birds, who has a suit of magical henshin space armor thanks to the space birds, who is actually part alien(s), who actually is also the mysterious male robot vigilante known as Justin Bailey. All those things after the broody teacher bit she doesn't really make public knowledge.
Most likely to get along with: Other bounty hunter/mercenary/assassin/military types, jerks with a heart of gold, very young/small/innocent children, sometimes scientist types, ...bird andor bird people andor bird affiliated types.
Least likely to get along with: OPPOSING FIGURES OF AUTHORITY--Samus is very anti-authority and values freedom and independence! Blatantly obvious evil/villain/psychotic types, overly submissive types, overly aloof or boorish types she will be more apt to simply ignore outright.
Types of CR wanted: Platonic friendship, one-sided/unrequited romantic, and negative. Snarking and battles of wit are great. Mother/child relationships are GREAT but let's talk about it first if you're totally serious about perusing it. I also really love the idea of cop/criminal type relationships, like IF YOU EVER FELT LIKE PUTTING A BOUNTY ON YOUR CHARACTER'S HEAD I'd love to see how that pans out.

Notable for: ~~work them goodies ms aran~~ ~~her tits smudge the blackboard~~ UH I guess more seriously ogling her assets in class has been a proud Smash Academy Tradition slash running joke and it will earn anyone a swift detention. Casual unintended displays of herculean strength. Like, why get down on your hands and knees to look for a pen that fell under the desk when you can lift up the entire desk instead? ~~why use doors~~ WHO DOES THAT? Samus does that. She's kind of vertically challenged in Smash. If you see a bright red custom built motorbike in the parking lot, that's her bike. Sometimes she switches things up and bums a ride with Falcon in the Blue Falcon. Because who wouldn't.
If your character were to encounter this one: She doesn't smile often and suffers mildly from Resting Bitchface Syndrome. Casual acquaintances or random hallway greetings usually won't get much more than eye contact or a brief nod before she carries on her way. Samus doesn't go out of her way to antagonize anyone though (unless your name is Bowser), she's just socially elusive and mysterious like that. Can be prone to random acts of kindness like sharing/giving food to someone hungry, carrying something or someone if they need it, or being instantly concerned if she suspects someone is hurt/in need of help. She's a sucker for playing hero.
Dorm Life: NAKED ROOFTOP HOT TUB PARTIES ALL THE TIME. You are not invited.
Places frequented: FIREHOUZE. Bars in FDC (hi Desmond). The school's training stadium, usually on 'shoot the targets' or just for a good beating on poor sandbag. Rarely, the weight room if she thinks she can have it to herself. Wherever Falcon's hanging out like autoshop or his office. She has her own office on campus, which she really uses to tinker with leftover stuff from BioMech class as a personal hobby so it looks more like a small workshop than it does your typical office. Samus is very mech and tech savvy! Sometimes she stays in her classroom to grade papers. Sometimes she just patrols around the hallways, looking for trouble. More often than not though, if she doesn't have a reason or purpose to be on campus, she won't be. Sometimes during the warmer months she'll utilize the school's parking lot to wash her bike.

Often seen with: Falcon. She's not big on PDA but if you're a creep who creeps on them she will sometimes try to steel smooches with him in the hallways. Probably hangs out with Dachora a lot but would also encourage her to EMBRACE FREEDOM AND INDEPENDENCE and not want to smother her/get too attached. Snake? Probably lots of Snake hangouts or chilling in the back of Boxes 101 smirking at him like a smug so and so. UH... who else wow Samus you need more friends, maybe sometimes she will hang out with Shadow or Phoenix. She has a long history with Char but she probably does not seek him out without reason. (Hey I found these plastic eggs marked 'Batman Jr.' and 'Snoop Dog' on my chair I'd like to return them with my fist.)
