Chris's Bros - Max,, Bowser, Jock, Hagakure

My selection of dudes and their memories is as follows:

Maximilian Justice Powers:
- Age 12, being at home and being notified by the military that your father has died.
- Age 18, being a grunt in the tank corps, you spend a lot of quality time with a thin guy in the artillery
- You have to explain to a really dumb 12-year-old boy what an airport is.
- You're leading an army going up against a guy who can lob meteors at your troops every so often. You kick his ass.
- You kick that guy's ass again.
- You're fighting a clone of that kid who didn't know what an airport was; you're strangely emotional and choked up as you watch him fall apart in front of you.
- Anything that has happened at school. If you ever wanted to be a Gen 1 Starter, now's your chance.

Bowser:
- That time Mario jumped on an ax and dumped him in a pool of lava
- That time Mario dodged his attacks until he fell through a brick floor
- That time Mario jumped on his head as he floated around in a clown car
- That time Mario [verb] [Direct Object] [prepositional phrase]
- That time Bowser ran a chain of hotels
- That time Bowser used his time machine to steal priceless artifacts from around the globe and across time to melt the arctic
- That time Bowser was in the Olympics
- That time Bowser was possessed and had boobs
- That time Bowser was a baby and a yoshi threw eggs at him
- Anything that's ever happened at school.

Jock:
- Being a tiny baby puppy and being so scared by a charizard that you faint
- Being held by the most beautiful girl in the entire world as you wake up and realize that this is what love feels like, this feeling right here, that you never want to forget
- Burninating a whole lot of steel-type pokemon at a pokemon gym
- Being given a fire stone as a reward for a job well done at the beginning of your trip to Hoenn
- Traveling around Sinnoh and kicking ass
- Traveling around pokeAmerica and eating a WHOLE lot of Sawsbuck, wow are they tasty
- Anything that's happened at school

Hagakure:
- Calligraphy lessons beginning at age 7 with a very old woman who is very strict about proper form
- An earthquake when you're twelve that results in a head concussion from a falling box in your house; now you can see into the future/alternate timelines
- Making mad loads of cash working as a fortune teller as soon as you graduated Jr. High
- Participating with a surprising level of devotion in a number of Shinto rituals
- Spending scads of cash on rocks from the internet that are from aliens or ghosts or alien ghosts
- Fleeing for your life from a Yakuza gang member who's asked you to pay up your debts
- A surprising number of memories about chickens on your grandma's farm
- Going to a high school where you meet some new friends even though you're two years older than everyone else
- Being knocked unconscious and waking up several hours later trapped inside of a robot suit while also trapped inside of a locker
- Lots of people you know are killed in front of your eyes in overly-dramatic fashion
- Anything that's happened at school
