Let's break a few Eggs

Right, so in Personals, I brought up a potential plot to take out Eggman's robot forces, and there was enough support that making a full plotting post would be prudent! So, here's the run-down on what we have so far:

- This will be happening AFTER Valentines Day. We've got a little time to smooth out the questions!
- Hajime wants to free the animals trapped inside Eggman's robots. He's trying to gather support and make a team that will be able to infiltrate Eggman's lab and wreck as much as possible.
- Hajime WILL NOT be posting on the network, since, y'know, that would warn Eggman too easily. This is going to be entirely a word-of-mouth deal, but it should be getting to enough people. Hajime could tell Zero, who could tell Knuckles, who could tell Sonic, etc etc, so there's options for your character to hear about it or not, or perhaps details will get misconstrued in this big Telephone game. This can be mostly handwaved, but if you want to piece together how your character might hear or get involved, there'll be a thread inside for that, since it can also lead to CR opportunities!
- Rock and Lucca may be finally discovering the source of our cupidbot infestation on Valentines, which could help more people get ready to take Eggman out. If kidnap, torture, war, and brainwashing weren't enough.
- Hajime wants to keep this as nonviolent an effort as possible, but that doesn't mean things will work out that way.

Let's try and figure out what we want to have happen!

As the person starting this, Hajime's just telling those he knows for absolute SURE to be against Eggman's ways, Zero and Kiyotaka. The guy's not popular, but you can't be too careful.

As stated, Zero would tell Knuckles about this endeavour and probably no one else - he doesn't want to involve more people than necessary, and Knuckles is the only friend he has with experience with Eggman. So he's definitely going to be surprised/annoyed that the number of people showing up to this mission is way larger than he assumed.

Knuckles would probably point out that telling Sonic would be a definite asset. Sonic has faced down Eggy more times than Knuckles has, after all. He might not immediately think to tell Blaze, but I'm assuming Sonic would do that.

Sonic would hear it from Knux, probably, and relay it to Blaze for sure. Other people are a possibility, depending on who it is and how well he knows them.

Haha, not entirely sure how Pulse can possibly find out... He's not really close to any of these characters, but then he might have a tad bit of notoriety for being able to jump in and out of computers/televisions/networks, etc. and being generally hazardous to machines.

He dislikes Eggman as well, if for nothing else than his attitude and trying to run an authoritarian state with his robot army in FDC a year or so ago (a little bit TOO familiar to Pulse). He's currently in a position where he's just watching Eggman and waiting for something to happen, like some kind of compromise in the security of his airship/lab, that would allow Pulse to sneak around inside his computers or something, just to find some information that would help him decide whether or not that this guy deserves to get taken out.

Maybe after Rock/Lucca trace the Cupidbots back to Eggman, or the lab gets broken into, Pulse could join in then.

Huh.. I just saw this in the personals and after thinking about it this is something that could/would combine a few things that I believe Midna would take interest in: taking down a tyrant, saving animals (why not, they're part of one of the worlds she's fond of), and getting a chance to kick some ass. AND maybe by helping with this she'll get in favor with whatever powers that be which would possibly grant her something else she's seeking. Because what great powers that be don't favor the safety and well being of innocent animals?

Oh and use her talent that is literally hiding and moving in the shadows to sneak in and do whatever would need to be done to grant entry to any invading forces :> only thing is I'm not sure how she would hear of this going on.. but if she did she'd be in. For all those reasons.

WILDCARD GHOST EAVESDROPPING

To help facilitate communication and get the word out without it getting in the wrong ear, I humbly offer Warren and his ghostly abilities.

He's A SNEAKY SNOOP and LOVES EAVESDROPPING and HATES EGGMAN because EGGMAN MURDERED HIM and he hates everyone else too for that matter but in but this is an instance where he'd definitely help grease the wheels and get word around. Warren also has a weird little fixation on Hajime because he's so interesting.

SO basically I'm asking if you're cool with Warren doing his ghost thing and eavesdropping, he would definitely be the type to go around campus, floating through walls and looking for strong/interested parties and getting word out.

He has literally nothing better to do and getting any kind of vengeance on Eggman would be the cat's meowwwww.

GENERAL PLOTTING

Just a general suggestion I wanted to bring up:

When it comes to event threads with a lot of people involved, sometimes progression can get really muddied between tag order, tagging speeds, etc. Would it be more cohesive for the characters to infiltrate the base in pairs or small teams instead of everyone in the same thread? The place is probably big enough that they'd need to split up.

That way, the Sonic, Knuckles and Blaze can have their competition of who-can-bust-the-most-robots in a thread while Hajime gets robotisized (please) in another. And maybe they can meet up again when needed.

Oh yeah, breaking into separate groups is absolutely something that's going to need to happen. Probably different groups for taking out robots, destroying equipment for building more, sabotaging security systems, etc. and roboticization please i want it

So Connor hears of all of this going down and privately contacts Hajime to speak in private, basically offering his services to find more info and join the fight.
