Moonpocalypse 2015.
Greetings Smash! As you have noticed, things are getting tense. We hope you've been having fun so far, but we've still got a ways to go! Here are some of the things that you can expect to start happening:
The Man in the Moon and You!
As Characters have already been made aware, the moon is indeed coming down. This is something that will start to become apparent to any naysayer in the next few days as it begins to grow exponentially larger on the horizon over the month. The closer it gets, the easier it is to see that man in the moon guy that people talk about! It's really pretty uncanny valley up there.
No Going Back:
With the moon the way it is and on a clear path towards the area at large, Gordon had the keen observation that perhaps people should evacuate to their homeworlds. Characters that attempt to do this, however, will quickly find that it is no longer an option. While still possible for new people to make their way on the scene or people that have previously left Smash to return, the way out is shut.
Going through the woods leads you right back to campus. Taking transportation out of FDC loops you back into a return trip before you even notice. You could fly for hours but still only make it to FDC's suburbs. You can cross the edge of the map, but all it does is bring you to the side you were trying so hard to get away from.
Zero Escape: Why Is There Only One Door
Mid-month, the clock-tower is getting a bit of a makeover. While it might have been where the Headmaster's office is, it looks far less inhabited than it used to be. More notably is the appearance of a very large, heavy-looking, intricately decorated door. There is a beautiful clock in it's center, but it appears to be broken.
The door is securely locked. It won't budge, not even a little. It is impervious to damage. What a mystery! You must check your wrists for your number and use the correct combination.
And More to Come!
This isn't all we'll be up to this month! Keep your eyes peeled for more event posts, IC and out! We'll get you more details as they happen. Things are probably busy with trying to get things usable after all the colossal destruction, bbbbut... if there was anything you'd like to play out in FDC, you'd be encouraged to do so this month.
Have fun! Kill a colossus! See you later! Have any questions? Post 'em here!

(Cyrus gets punched in the face instead)
Fine but don't say he didn't bring it up as an option.

Gordon has found out that the monster masks contain spirits of some kind, that they react in proximity to one another, and that there are four of them. What else has he found out from studying them? What happens if a living creature touches them? Does analysis tell him anything important about what they're made of or what's inhabiting them? Do they do anything when the lab is quiet, besides sit there and be creepy?
Finally, what happens if he gets them all together? Assuming they get a hold of Goht's mask, that is.

For now, all the masks together do absolutely nothing while they're in what remains of the lab.
