With 100% more Fourth Wall Weekend information. BUT FIRST...

● Regarding Helena's characters, we have decided to put a 6 month freeze on Slippy and Sparkster, while Parakarry now joins the Smash family as an unappable NPC. That has been reflected on our Appable list. Parakarry will be Smash's permanent mailman, able to deliver letters and packages to and from whoever you want. ICly, Slippy and Sparkster left to go on grand adventures. Thank you guys for your input; your comments really helped us reach an admittedly difficult decision. As a reminder, if you are interested in supporting Helena's family, head on over here.

● We have done the dorm shuffle! For those of you who are new to Smash Academy, occasionally we shuffle the dorms around to accommodate sad and roommate-less students. Hey, who doesn't want some free CR? This is explained ICly as you waking up in your new dorm with your new roommate, with all your belongings and possessions moving right with you. Everything is exactly as how you left it... just in a different dorm. HOW DID THIS HAPPEN? A wizard did it. Dialga and Palkia hiccuped at the same time. You were actually in Subcon the the whole time. Someone had fun with an ASHPD while you weren't looking. Instead of trying to figure it out, why don't you say hello to your new roommate and make a note of your new dorm number, if you happen to be one of those lucky students. And if you're not a fan of these changes for any reason (or notice a mistake), don't hesitate to grab a mod, and we'll take care of you. You are also more than welcome to play out this strange happenstance and can ICly call for the headmasters or RAs, though some of them might only be so helpful...

● Speaking of the wiki, we noticed some of the Class Schedules are a bit out of date, and this is something we could use your help in fixing up! Even if you're only taking care of your own dude, that would totally help. Registering for the wiki should be super easy, and if you need the passcode leave a comment here.

● smashacademy's tags have been updated. Let us know if you spot any typos or missing tags.

FOURTH WALL WEEKEND INFORMATION

We are going to do a little experimenting with this event, and if all goes well and we get good feedback from you guys about it, we'll do it some more. Fourth Wall Weekend will ICly take place April 27th-29th. However! We will be future dating logs a week in advance, starting April 20th. You can check it out on the calendar if you're a visual person. We'll throw up two generic "[open] Smash Academy" and "[open] FDC" logs, and any other logs or network posts you want to throw up you are more than welcome to. ONE IMPORTANT THING TO KEEP IN MIND IF YOU DO THAT, HOWEVER...

Any posts made in smash_logs or smashacademy MUST. We mean MUST be tagged appropriately. This is how anyone outside of Smash will know where to post. Any posts made in smash-logs get the tag: * event - 4th wall weekend, and any in smashacademy get the tag: *4th wall weekend. It should go without saying but only people in Smash can start new entries. Anyone outside of Smash will be limited to posting in entries, so make sure you tag them right so they know where to post.

SO. How exactly his this event happening...?

Basically, TD-17's wall is going to break one too many times and open up one of those crazy time/space portals right in E.E.'s dorm. "What is the deal with this Kyle's Wall thing anyway?" you ask? It has a bit of history as being an unfortunate place to live; its walls are habitually smashed and broken by any number of Smash Academy's more ~~sexy~~ violent classes or happenings. ~~Except that one time.~~ It's become a bit of a running gag/Smash Academy tradition.

Obviously, this can only mean it is The Fourth Wall.

On April 27th (IC date) this will be one broken wall too many, and a time/space portal will be opened up, allowing anyone (any video game, any duplicate, any movie, anime, book; you name it, no apps required) to waltz/get sucked right through. Trying to go back through the portal will essentially spit you out back in Smash Academy. By the end of the weekend it will get patched up (details to follow) and everything will go back to normal, and all these weird people will be able to go back where they belong. ...Or not if someone apps them for reals or something.

We'll make one more mod-post next week as a reminder/instructions for those outside of Smash. So until then, go ~~fourth~~ forth and spread the word. Tell your friends, tell your friends friends. Everyone is invited! ~~Unless you were banned or something.~~

Can members edit the wiki? Vincent and Peach still aren't listed the dorms.

Oh dear! And yes, members totally can. You just have to sign up, which is quick and painless. Again, if you need the passcode we can give it to you in a screened comment.

I put Peach in BW-14, and Vincent as an RA down in AE02b. Do you accept this?

Uhh this is sort of an awkward question. But since there's a dorm shuffle and everything... Is the other half of Marie's dorm going to free up since Slippy's IC-ly leaving or will it wait until after the freeze? Honestly I don't mind either way. Marie hasn't been staying in his dorm for weeks anyway...
