CHARACTER/GAME PERSONALS - MAY 2012

NEW! GOALS & DIRECTIONS. Hey, some of us have been here a really long time and might not know what direction to take our characters in anymore, or maybe you've been here only a few days and don't know where to start. There's no better time to start than now, so don't be afraid to express what things you'd like to do with your characters, regardless if it's something that might happen in the near future or a long ways away. Fall in love? Fall out of love? Graduate? Experience what it's like to be the opposite gender? An animal? In the body of someone else? Save the world? Try to destroy it? The more other players are aware of what you want to do, the better your chances are of making your wishes into reality!

THIRD PARTY SUGGESTIONS. Suggest new CR or character ideas, even if it has nothing to do with your own characters. Just put a "THIRD PARTY SUGGESTION" in the title of your comment when you browse the Character Plotting threads, and who knows? Maybe you just suggested a great interaction or idea no one has ever thought of before. And don't forget to spread the love around with as many people as you can so everyone gets a suggestion or two!

A few ground rules:

You don't HAVE to accept every offer that comes your way. Accept offers you are interested in, and politely say no to ideas you do not like.
An offer does NOT guarantee a log or plot development between your characters. Please remember that.
The final decision about which offers to accept or reject goes to the original poster of the request.

Previous game plotting thread.

Player: Shocky
Character(s): Blacky and Seere
Seeking: I think mostly I want to be involved in some kind of ongoing player plots or something, as a supporting character at the very least. Have one of my guys have a lasting effect on someone else, that kind of thing. BE INVOLVED. General CR is always good too, and maybe a draw log or two this month. Just not on tegaki, because tegaki and pchat hate my tablet.

Goals & Directions: I've been floundering a little for both of them. Blacky I think I might want to have try to go back to doing more of the things she did when she was alive, like flirting around and being a social butterfly or something else. Just completely failing at whatever it is she ends up doing because it's been a while and there are some things she still has trouble remembering.
I also want to play up the whole 'mischievous ghost type' thing a little more often, if anyone is up to be a victim or co-conspirator.

But yeah, if you can think of ANYTHING at all for either of them I am open to hearing any kind of suggestions.

Previous Personals: PRETTY MUCH MORE OF THE SAME FROM LAST TIME...

Samus: STILL WANNA WRAP UP ALASKALOG but I think we're getting there; I jumped her and Lash ahead to finding REX. Samus's next network post I'm going to have her acquire EVA's tapes and then brilliantly do something dumb with them like show them off to the wrong person. ~~Ocelot or Big Boss are clearly excellent options.~~ Auction related shenanigans ngl I was really looking forward to, among other things, but I don't think those sentiments are... shared? So I'm juuuuust gonna' handwave that at this point. Samus will be due for a network post soonish she's got plenty of ~~no pants~~ brooding material. Open for unrelated shenanigans and adventures.

Raiden: Is going to have a network post up VERY SOON he's got some things to whine/talk about; April 30th ~~threesomes~~ and acquiring Mei Ling's Pikachu and general janitor woes. I'm also still on board for getting that GW log up, possibly mid month or after Graduation, and subsequently merging whatever story path Samus has together by then, depending on how things go. Playing that mostly by ear.

Warren: SEVERAL THINGS PLANNED for the near future.
1) Host club (glasses theme!) for funsies and not directly consequential of,
1) A blood drive log because he needs to be miserable for a change...
2) ...wherein he's going to try and make himself less miserable by subtly distributing THESE. What are these? HFS: highly addictive, ~~fictional~~ synthetic, hallucinogenic drugs, my friend. No school setting is complete without illegal trading of these substances. And this stuff is going to blow your mind.

Overall, I've probably been a little slow last ~~forever~~ month...s... doing a lot of mod bidness/event running and juggling a new job, so I'm looking forward to that maybe easing up this month.

Goals & Directions: Nephers has had it pretty easy in her time here, and I'd love for her to get into some sort of trouble. Or actually have troubles.
On the happier side, I'd also like her to reunite with old friends, and maybe get a crush or too. Or something. Basically, anything and everything goes for suggestions!

Goals & Directions: SEE ABOVE. Getting some poor people to attend his SURVIVAL CLASS would be a good start, too. ~~and an infiltration mission into Samus' cleavage I mean what~~

Seeking: Anything really. Looking ideally for things that will get him out of his comfort zone of blah blah blah universe blah blah justice blah blah new god blah.
Goals & Directions: I want to overall get him to realize that the world can be pretty nice and that destroying it is an overall Bad Idea. Although he'll still always have that in his mind and won't ever be entirely "healed", I want to eventually get him to have things like friends and happiness in his life. Although this will take a very long time to play properly, I'm looking for people who want to give this guy a chance at seeing the real greater good isn't starting over but moving on.

Character(s): Ai/Purple Pikmin, Eli/Arbok, Gold, Link, and Marie/Squirtle.
Seeking: TO MEET DIFFERENT PEOPLE. I want fresh CR~! Ai seems to be doing alright in this sense, but my other dudes could really use some new CR. Or expand on some of the less-expanded CR they have. Link in particular could use some planning since he's new, and Marie because he REALLY struggles making CR outside of his team/Green team.

Character(s): Red | Pokemon
Seeking: Non Poggle CR! I realise that Red's pretty bad at this since he is pretty much the poster boy for the Pokemon franchise! I'd love for him to meet other silent protag types and just generally all the people!
Goals & Directions: For the time being, my goal is just to expand his cross-canon CR.

Seeking: All the cross-canons. All the people I don't have any CR with. Madcap shenanigans and coolguy action. Character-specific:

Char: Is pretty much always good to go because easiest dude to write ever. He's still being a moody turd, but once he gets over it, he'll be available for "generic petty antagonist" purposes.

Kieran: I want him to meet everyone. ALSO: I really enjoy the whole trope of corrupting innocence, and I don't particularly want to play him being sunshine and rainbows and singing baby birds forever. I am very okay with bad influences or having his stupid made fun of or anything like that. ALSO ALSO: He is going to learn what kissing is sooner or later. If you have ever though to yourself "wow I wish my character could get played by/have a casual fling with/engage in ~experimenting~ with the densest deer on the planet", then boy do I ever have the character for you.

Lyra: In the back of my mind I am cooking up an ACTION PLOT to involve her in. Sadly, I have nothing but vague ideas at the moment, but given her history of Poke-Heroics it shouldn't be too hard to cobble something feasible together. No concrete promises yet, but if you know Lyra and would like to have cool adventures fighting badguys, consider this a general interest check?

Character(s): Mac, Vincent, Peach, Sophie.
Seeking: Everythiiiiing.

Mac: Could always use more times with friends. I've been a little slow with him so I'd really like for him to hang out with a lot of people. Plus, after the murders, I've been trying to have him start to move on from it. So having that innocent, positive spark come back would do wonders. He needs role models and people who can make him look like a silly goofy child.

Tender moments are always welcome too.

Peach:...Is pretty good now. Would always like to have ideas always though.

Vincent: I AM REALLY BEHIND WITH VINCENT. I'm going to post a network post tomorrow so he can get into activity check. I especially accept ANYTHING for him.

Sophie: Is my new one. New friends...new everything.

Player: Carbon
Character(s): Byrne, Phoenix Wright, Kanji
Seeking: I want all the things. I'm so sorry my activity has been fail as of late. I've been suffering minor RP burnout, but my drive is gradually coming back. But I really want to expand the CR for all my dudes, pretty much. I'd love to do anything.

Goals & Directions: UHHH so... My goals and directions for my characters... I'm not sure. My goal for Kanji is to reach level ten of his social link with Yu, which pretty much means accepting who he is and being okay with his interests. Also to not be so hung up about sexuality. My goal for Phoenix is for eventually, in the distant future, for him to get his badge back. Also I really want him to adopt another teenage assistant. My goal for Byrne is ~~to fall in love~~ to... I have no idea. I'll figure that one out.

Player: Essay
Character(s): Goose, Shadow the Hedgehog
Seeking: Anything, ESPECIALLY for Goose.
Goals & Directions:

Goose has been low on activity lately. To be perfectly frank, I've been at a loss on what to do with him, so anything would be GREAT for him!

Shadow is doing pretty damn good ~~which is surprisingly since he's the more anti-social of the two~~, but anything would be good for him, too. Especially pestering him and pissing him off. ALWAYS.

Player: Mako
Character(s): Them dudes up there.
Seeking: I've been something out of the loop for a while now and I've been mostly doing back tags only and not very many new things. So I'd really like to reinforce some of the older CR I have with characters and make some new CR, too. ~~Let's just call me greedy.~~

Goals & Directions:
Caim is a buttface. No. Seriously. Okay. I'd love for him to be able to get his sword back. Maybe he breaks into Majima's office at the security department and steals it. ~~And gets in more trouble.~~ Actually, I'd love to see a trial for his crimes to be put into action, but the trial thing would be hard to play out and I think the commitment required for it wouldn't be easy to get a hold onto, so that will likely never come to pass.

Also. The voice thing. I'm still real interested in Caim getting his voice back sometime at the academy. Since you know, the Hands can make that shit happen. Maybe it's a reward for good behaviour...? This is something to think about. (I am, of course, accepting suggestions.)

Marth is a thing. With little to no direction. Usually the guy pumps out some tea socials by the mile, but we haven't had one yet. (He was originally supposed to have one during spring break, but other stuff came up and prevented that.) So I really have no direction with him (until the new FE is released, in which case, I may canon update him if applicable). He really needs something to do. He needs new CR and to re-establish his old CR. ~~He needs girls, actually. Give him all the girlfriends.~~

So... yeah. Pretty much just taking Marth out on all the dates.

Nabooru just celebrated her birthday not too long ago. She's doing... okay. I still would love to one day have this great plot with the Zelda cast over how Ganondorf learns about what his destiny is and how she's been trying to stop him. And with the Skyward crew just beginning, I'm sure this can add into it.

Zelda cast aside, Nabooru could really use something new to do as well. With graduation just around the corner, she'll be having her final exam practise starting up soon. I don't know what else to give her to do, though. ~~Threesomes.~~

Snake is a problem child for me. The guy doesn't really do much. I'm happily interested in backtagging for the Alaska log, which is currently in progress. (No rush. I have it tracked.) I'd like to do a class log for him soon in the future. Big Boss is here now, and we have our lovely Ocelot, that I'm sure he won't really know how to interpret either. At least not immediately.

Snake's still convinced no one knows Pliskin and Snake are the same people (except EVA - who's no longer with us, Samus, and some of the MGS crew), so he'll probably just keep calling himself that until someone calls him out publicly on his shit. Otherwise, I don't really know what to do with him either.

Voile has been working on the contest hall in FDC, which is not anywhere near done. Unfortunately, a lot of the plans I had made previous personals involved CR that she just lost, so I'm sort of back at square one with her. When she's not doing the contest hall, she's with Sonny or doing her homework.

I'd really love to see a point where Voile loses control of her ability to harbour both the emotions of everyone else at the academy and hers. I'd also love to see that infamous Sonny/Voile/Cyrus relationship hurdle, because I feel like it's potentially still there, but I don't know what the interest is like in that. So basically. New stuff and old stuff would be great here. ~~Maybe something with Warren...~~

Zelda is new. This should be obvious enough. Anything and everything for her. ~~I will post something for her entrance today. :]~~

Riwane still struggles with classes, but nothing much has really changed with her. Still looking to do more with the excitable firetail and maybe further develop her admiration of certain bigger firetails and work more on her notrelationship? She's a weirdo... -_-

Charlise is still as emo as ever, still as vindictive for no apparent reason and still a bitch... She needs to get out more tbh. Maybe find a hobby that doesn't involve making others miserable.

Shara has been adjusting to the school fairly well. Met up some new folk and taking her classes in stride. Anything for this lady is more than alright!~

Seeking: All of the above. My activity has been pretty abysmal as of late, and that's definitely a thing I'd like to fix.

Goals & Directions: I'm not really sure where most of my characters are going at the moment.
Nyx is generally fairly easy, she's a dick to people and they don't like her, it works out. Some more like-minded friends would be nice, more people for her to antagonize would be absolutely fantastic. Basically, If you've ever had some kind of bad thing you've wanted to have happen to a character, and didn't know how to make it happen, she's probably more than willing. (that sounds like an advertisement. Call now, and get a free hazing!)

Fuel seriously needs more friends. Other than that, I'm not really sure? I'll probably have a post up for him soon, so.

Sabrina... is kind of problematic for me. She's trying to be a little less anti-social and scary and a little more approachable, but she doesn't really know how to go about doing it.

Celebi is also a butt and needs to get out more when I have the time to push her on everyone. If you ever needed a time paradox, hit me up broski I got this. (Handy for things such as shaving years off your life or canon updates.)

Goals & Directions:

My characters are gradually losing their CR as people drop like flies or consider doing that, so I would mostly just like to build on relationships old and new. Considering I lost a lot of development due to drops, I think my characters could stand to make some new friends. I'm all for futzing around the city or school, friendly spars, chats, run-ins, whatever! Aaaaand maybe not-so-friendly! That's in the bag too!

If you want more serious/dramatic/larger-scale plots or to fit my characters into yours somehow, please help yourself and ask! I am all for that!

When I can, I will be canon-updating Pit once I watch an entire playthrough of the game (I'm almost halfway there!!!). Or actually get to play the game! Whichever comes first. I am very sad that it will probably not be the second option. :[

Goals & Directions:

Knuckles - Never did have either that Angel Island Log or a Housewarming party to celebrate his new home with Goombella. Those are things I want to do with him soon. Angel Island Log would be set up like those in previous years with the ability for Sprite Pictures to be added to showcase your shenanagins. Housearming would be a log carefully co-designed by myself and Jeff I would assume if he is up for that. If he is not up for that then Goombella can be gone for the weekend and come home to find a raucous kegger has been thrown in her absense.

Jon - Has a Pokemon license and has clearly picked the best starter despite what some journal names might have you beleive. Any battles would be coordinated with Kitsu as well - but mostly I just want him to meet other trainers and chill with them and learn stuff. Because he's still new at it and will probably suck for a while. Also, if any un-tamed pogles want to join the wonderful and illustrious Team Talbain, feel free to express that interest here and move onward into a Bright and Wonderful Future.

Goals & Directions:

My biggest wish is to build longterm CR with more people. To do some logging together and/or plotting things that leads to other events, good or bad and to have a relationship that could really have an impact on his life (platonic, romantic, hate, cute, sassy, all of the above, I'm up for any) and give me new things to do with him that will keep me motivated. Give him something new to obsess over?

He still has some closure to seek with Blacky, which Shocky and I planned to put those two back where they were before they started dating, and I have that recent bond to build with Nabooru, as well as some commitments arranged with Daisy and Mako's Turkey Zelda.

~~goddamn these are all girls~~

I also want to do a Zoology log this month. Recent plurk convos suggest going with my idea of the rideable chocobos from FF Tactics/XII. Maybe a finals field trip or something. It will be journal based, but if desired, I can throw in a tegaki supplement thread for sketch tags if it won't be too confusing.

Seeking: Open to any ideas and plots, please throw me ideas if you have them. Along with the usual, I'd like to play with cool dudes and/or new dudes that I don't have much CR with. I'm probably going to be rather busy this month though, so please bear with me.
Goals & Directions:

Vinnie will hopefully be moving in an upward direction in terms of physical and mental recovery. I'd like him to make some new friends though, and attend classes, and just plain get out more.

Pele needs anything, period. I'm still having a tough time trying to force her interaction on her, but I feel she does all right if she was involved in a plot?

Majima, when he comes back with a canon update, will probably be back to his usual shenanigans. So I just need ~~force Bret to~~ finish shooting zombies.

Seeking: For now, what I REALLY want to do is more things that will expand all of my character's CR. I want all of my characters to meet new people, as well as have them grow closer to the CR that they already have, whether it's positive or negative. I feel a bit better now, so I feel like I can be on top of this more.
Goals & Directions:

For Sable, I know that eventually I am going to be putting up an office log for her. A couple of months ago I was planning on doing a little plot with her, but for now I'm going to hold off on it until I'm ready again. I really want her to make more friends (though that might be a little hard considering she's usually cooped up in her office sewing all day!).

Doopliss is the character in my roster that I've always had the most trouble with, so for now I'm just focusing on getting my voice back for him. I think for now I just want to focus on getting him back into the game rather than focusing on specific plots.

For Watt, I have a few ideas on things I could do with her, but as said before, I want to get rolling back into the game more. She's my most sociable character, so I still especially want her to gain and expand on her CR. So I guess if you want your character to interact with a cute friendly little girl, then here you go!
