GAME PLOTTING
Use this handy form and suggest plot ideas you'd like to see in the game. We LOVE GAME-WIDE DEVELOPMENT IDEAS.

<b>Player:</b> <b>Idea:</b> This can be anything from "cafeteria food fight" to "campus-wide murder mystery". No idea is too big or small. Find interested parties, work out details, decide on when/where/how/why together! Just remember anything really huge should be run by the moderators real quick. Use your best judgement; things like hijacking the PA system, minor to moderate property destruction and brawls don't need mod approval, but things like exploding buildings and mass-death should get approval.

GOALS & DIRECTIONS: Hey, some of us have been here a really long time and might not know what direction to take our characters in anymore, or maybe you've been here only a few days and don't know where to start. There's no better time to start than now, so don't be afraid to express what things you'd like to do with your characters, regardless if it's something that might happen in the near future or a long ways away. Fall in love? Fall out of love? Graduate? Experience what it's like to be the opposite gender? An animal? In the body of someone else? Save the world? Try to destroy it? The more other players are aware of what you want to do, the better your chances are of making your wishes into reality!

THIRD PARTY SUGGESTIONS: Suggest new CR or character ideas, even if it has nothing to do with your own characters. Just put a "THIRD PARTY SUGGESTION" in the title of your comment when you browse the Character Plotting threads, and who knows? Maybe you just suggested a great interaction or idea no one has ever thought of before. And don't forget to spread the love around with as many people as you can so everyone gets a suggestion or two!

A few ground rules:

1. You don't HAVE to accept every offer that comes your way. Accept offers you are interested in, and politely say no to ideas you do not like.
   
2. An offer does NOT guarantee a log or plot development between your characters. Please remember that.
   
3. The final decision about which offers to accept or reject goes to the original poster of the request.

Like last month, our mod calendar is currently blank for the month of June. SCHOOL'S OUT FOR EVER THE SUMMER! Classes are not typically being held during summer break. However, if you get inspired to make one, don't let that stop you. Detention hell Summer School Summer courses are definitely an option at Smash. We haven't done any field trips to vacation spots in a while though, have we?

We otherwise have a lot of lovely suggestions from last month's game plotting thread, and there was some brief brainstorming in chat last night regarding R.O.B. and Personality Cores and Things Going Wrong, and recurrent mentions of a very exciting sounding Time Eater plot... so plot it out, and make it happen!

A day or two where everyone speaks like they're in a Shakespeare play or a high fantasy novel.

SO as Melee and Brawl have shown us, the characters are trophies. They take enough of a beating, they turn from their usual animated selves back into a statue. They can't turn back on their own-- someone has to tap the trophy stand to set them free.

So what if we figured this element into Smash, somehow? Like as a plot or a new mechanic entirely, in some cases?

Obviously this needs to be hammered out more, but I'd like to hear what everyone's thoughts on this are.

Warren: I'M SO EXCITED FOR THIS I'LL PROBABLY MAKE A SEPARATE POST FOR IT IN smash_ooc come this weekend but, DRUGS. I really want to start up a drugs plot. Warren has very subtly started handing them out at Host Club but I think the real fun will come of friends sharing with other friends, and fights resulting between friends when they can't get their fix. If you want to get IN ON THIS let's make it happen.

RICK: IS SHINY AND NEW let's do all the things. I would greatly enjoy him talking to people over the audio and then meeting Rick face-to-face and going, "wtf is this I was talking to a robot?" And him asking a billion ladies out on dates and other ladies finding out and him getting in trouble as a result. Also adventures.

Samus: Due for a network post sometime uhhh soon. It's also Bike Washing season for her so I might throw one of those up for anyone looking for easy CR with her since she is otherwise not much of a social butterfly. Maybe have her go do a mission of some sort, summer time means more free time for her which means she'll be itching for action. THROW ME SOME MISSION-TYPE IDEAS/SHENANIGANS A LADY BOUNTY HUNTER MIGHT BE INTERESTED IN PURSUING?

Nephenee lost her best friend when Goose left, so I want her to find more best friends. She's also getting slowly hooked onto some confidence giving drugs, so she's actually in a social butterfly mood sometimes. But seriously, she just wants to make friends right now.

Goals & Directions:

Byrne: is lacking a bit in direction. Which tells me that he needs more friends. :| And one-night stands hurrr. For direction, I eventually plan to have him open up more and confront his inner demons. Also Spirit Tracks Link is hopefully arriving, which will complicate things a lot more. I am so excite. *_*

Phoenix Wright: is also lacking in direction. Eventually, in the distant future, I would like him to get his badge back. He wants more cases to investigate and stuff. Warren's drug thing might turn into a thing, I don't know. Also he could definitely use CR.

Kanji Tatsumi: is in a bad space right now. GLaDOS keeps giving him detentions, and Eli just dumped him (at prom, nonetheless!). So he's going to be pissy for a while. He could use some new friends and some strengthening of old CR. Also if the new Yu apps, he needs to max his social link and come to terms with who he is. But other people can help him with that too!

Chell: is brand spanking new, so I want all the things.

I have been lame in the recent past, I know, but this summer I should be (save for a couple of rough patches) better about being active.

Doopliss...you know what, he needs to prank people and generally be an ass, but I think it'd be easier for me to do that if I know who's willing for their characters to be pranked! I'm thinking about putting up a permissions post for him for that, but if there are any characters of yours that you don't mind being bothered by this ghost, then let me know!

Watt also needs to get out there and do more. I certainly wouldn't mind throwing her into some kind of a plot too! Same thing with Sable, I'd like to expand on old CR and start new CR as well!

So, I'm really new to this and Smash is my first real game, so I'm still a bit scared to get my feet wet. And Sonic can't swim. It's a thing. hahahahHAHAHA oh

So I'm noticing that Sonic often feels like he won't really approach anyone much unless he has a reason to be curious, is helping them, or they approach him. He's more into exploring his environment than really interacting with anyone just to do so, so it makes it easy to tackle cast mates, but I find my muse struggling with anyone else.

I'M TRYING TO GET OVER THAT, THOUGH. Sonic likes to just chill and have a good time. Do ridiculous things so long as no one gets hurt. That sorta thing. So... yeah. Hope we can do something?

Goals & Directions: Link still doesn't really know how to read or write. He knows some basics, because he was without a fairy long enough that he learned to do some of it for himself. But it's still very much a pictograph memory of the works. He doesn't associate sounds with letters so much as he associates a single word with a combination of certain pictures. So he could recognize 'house' but not 'h', 'o', 'u', 's', 'e' or 'hose' or whatever combinations he has not been exposed to and told what it means. He hasn't gotten enough practice with words beyond those he was exposed to on signs around the Kokiri Village to make those connections yet. And now he's here at the academy and he has no familiarity with any of the new languages he's seen written. What little writing he does is 'tracing' or 'copying' of writing he sees based on what Navi tells him something says.

This and any other fun shenanigans you might think up for him to do is love!

So I have here a young lady who last year couldn't read or write either. But now she can...well, up to a 5th grade level, but she's getting better.
In any case, I know she would -love- to help out someone else who struggles like she did. Would you like heer to attempt to teach Link, and forge a frieendship while they're at it?

Seeking: Interactions! Rhys needs more of this than Pit. And Pit is going to be absent for most of this month.

Here's the scoop: LAST CHANCE TO SAY GOODBYE TO PIT BEFORE HE FLIES AWAY FOREEEEVEEEER* and undergoes a hefty canon update. He wants to say a final goodbye to his friends and closest comrades, so um... I was wondering if someone was interested in getting their character to plan a going-away party for him for Saturday the 9th? I would likely be the one to set up the log, but it sounds kind of weird for Pit to throw his own going-away party. I thought it would be cool to have him get SIPHONED UP into the heavens before a small audience of people so they could be like WHOA HAHA WHAT. Anyway that's pretty much it for Pit! Next month I'll have a better idea of what to plan.

As for RHYS, his relationships seem to be a little stagnant, and I would love to build up on them! While Pit's off getting changed, Rhys will be my sole character for a short while and that gives me a good chance to brush up on all his camaraderies. Any of his older interactions are definitely sought after, and I would equally love new ones as well! I don't have any specific direction to take him in yet, but if I play with him some more I think it will naturally fall into place. The last biggest issue he had been dealing with was the discovery that some people he considers nice friends actually don't have that great of intentions sometimes. READ: Giovanni and Cyrus. It was a little overwhelming to him because he finds it difficult NOT to trust people.

Goals & Directions: Not much different from last time, BUT Marie is evolving into Wartortle soon. He'll be (not tremendously, but) a little easier to get along with, I think.

Marie: She totally needs to get out more. And of course, more friends. That being said, like GLaDOS, I'm up for negative CR. With her heart seeing powers and judgmental personality, it's bound to happen.
