Hey Smash, I'm eating your times!
You've waited. You've watched for the signs. And now, the stars have aligned, and it's finally happening.
TIME EATER PLOT!
Background:
The plot begins on June 23, Sonic's birthday. As in Sonic Generations, at Sonic's birthday party, a giant purple monster called the Time Eater will strike. All participants will be separated as the Time Eater starts to consume and erase all of history, leaving only bits and pieces of the timeline left unconsumed. Those caught by the Time Eater's attack will be left in the empty void left behind, the White World, forced to explore and relive moments from each of their histories in order to fix the timeline, find the Time Eater, and put everything right.
Log Structure:
After the initial opening log, everyone is free to open up logs, private or open, set in the time period the character(s) are reliving. It doesn't have to just be your native character, it can include other characters as well, who have come to help. Entire in-game canonmates are welcome to experience the same event, as much as non-canonmates are welcome to join in if you so desire. You can even do a solo log if you like. The sky's the limit! Then on Monday, a new log to confront the Time Eater will go up, and once the Time Eater is defeated and the event ends, everyone will be returned to Sonic's birthday on Saturday, and have lost no time at all.
What if I don't want to participate?:
Since when the event ends everyone will be returned to the moment in time when the Time Eater attacked, if you were not involved in the event, your characters won't even realize something has happened. Feel free to carry on as if nothing has happened.

If you'd like to be involved in the plot, please sign up below! Fill out the following form for each of your characters, if you want to solo or have an open log:

Sign-ups are open until June 22, after which a full list of all the time periods in play will be posted up.
NPCs:
Of course, if there are going to be NPCs involved in your jaunts through time and space, you're free to play them yourselves, or find other people to play them. If you can't find someone else to play them, I can try my hand at it. Otherwise, I'm also opening sign-ups to volunteers who want to take on the various NPC characters who are native to the time periods being visited. Feel free to offer your services under the individual character/group sign-ups if you're interested.
