Our move to Dreamwidth is complete and a great success! Let's do some celebrating!

Do you have a character that you think isn't getting enough interaction? Do you have a character who you think needs to interact with different people? Do you have a cool idea you'd like to see plotted out? Well fear not. Let our matchmaking service work for you! How does it work? It's quite simple, really!

GAME PLOTTING
Use this handy form and suggest/plot ideas you'd like to see in the game. SINCE WE'RE AT THE BEGINNING OF THE NEW YEAR there will be emphasis in this post on GAME-WIDE DEVELOPMENT that you'd like to see, please check it out.

<b>Player:</b> <b>Idea:</b> This can be anything from "cafeteria food fight" to "campus-wide murder mystery". No idea is too big or small. Find interested parties, work out details, decide on when/where/how/why together! Just remember anything really huge should be run by the moderators real quick. Use your best judgement; things like minor to moderate property destruction and brawls are okay, but things like exploding buildings and mass-death should get approval.

NOT QUITE SO NEW BUT STILL VERY ENCOURAGED! THIRD PARTY SUGGESTIONS. We're going to be encouraging everyone to suggest new CR or character ideas, even if it has nothing to do with your own characters. Just put a "THIRD PARTY SUGGESTION" in the title of your comment when you browse the Character Plotting threads, and who knows? Maybe you just suggested a great interaction or idea no one has ever thought of before. And don't forget to spread the love around with as many people as you can so everyone gets a suggestion or two!

If there's a kind of log/style of RPing you're interested in or would like to do (AIM logs, Tegaki logs, etc), go right ahead and specify that as well.

Then, any interested parties can reply to your thread, offering their characters, plot ideas, and log suggestions! You can work out the details, and voila, instant interaction!

A few ground rules:

1. You don't HAVE to accept every offer that comes your way. Accept offers you are interested in, and politely say no to ideas you do not like.
   
2. An offer does NOT guarantee a log or plot development between your characters. Please remember that.
   
3. The final decision about which offers to accept or reject goes to the original poster of the request.
   
4. Please, be polite, whether your idea was accepted or rejected, and whether you are accepting or rejecting an idea that was offered to you.

Yes, yes. We know the personals are new and ~*amazing*~, but we have something else pretty radical, too. For your convenience and reference, we have developed a charming calendar. Please note that we plan to move the calendar over to the new Wiki, which is still currently being worked on (but we're getting closer to completion!), so this calendar is more or less a place holder for the time being.

GAME PLOTTING

2012 is a brand new year and brand new opportunities. Is there an overall change or development you'd to make happen or see at Smash? Create a new NPC (or destroy), a new building in FDC, or a new running gag/in-joke Kyle's wall and the haunted dorm haven't suffered enough? Would you like to see more sports games, dances, or certain classes? More brawling and fighting? More whacky shenanigans tainting the water/food supply? More perilous near death plots or dire situations?

Fourth Wall Event

This is the game's 4th anniversary in March, I believe? So we ought to have a 4th Wall Event to celebrate.

For those unfamiliar with the term: Basically, the game temporarily lets people not in the game come and play with us for a period of time. At least, that's my understanding of it...

Silver the Hedgehog has not much planned, other than him being in the Caim/murder event thing.

For Gladys, there are some things planned for Valentines, but other than that nothing much. She's (supposedly) the most friendly muses so I really would like her to expand her CR/get to know more people.

Klug has been visiting the library a lot, studying like a goody two-shoes like he is. He'll eventually start venturing out to acquire magic items that will make him a stronger magic user.

Alex has been bullying Empo through the networks. Some more drama will go down with Empo in the close future. There's actually a lot planned out for him, one of which will lead him to finally grow out of being an immature brat |Db

Seeking: Right now, the biggest thing he has planned is that he's going to be trying to understand what failed him. So he's going to make attempts to be more social and to not come off as creepy as he usually does. For now, he's still planning for a third attempt at godhood/universal destruction, but he at least recognizes that there's something in the people that stopped him that he doesn't understand. And that he was just made into an extreme version of what he was after and it *terrified* him is going to have him seeking answers too.

Also I would like to have some hilarious threads with him too. He's so stoic and stick-up-the-butt that he pretty much *needs* to get involved in something bizarrely off the wall. Of course, not by his own volition.

Admittedly I'm still really struggling with Wario's voice and I'm seriously contemplating giving him up after the kidnapping plot.

Seeking: Incoming tl;dr. (Except perhaps not too much since it's wildly cold this morning. ;3;)

Caim is our not-so-beloved murderer. He's currently going through interrogations... and being jailed, I think, thanks to our fabulous security team. (Ganondorf crystals are awesome.) But it doesn't mean there's no aftermath. Tons of people have to be pissed at the guy and surely people are going to notice Goose's TA isn't around (assuming they don't make Caim's identity public). New CR and strengthening old CR would be most welcome ('good' and 'bad' CR alike - I am wholly expectant for Caim to have a rough road to travel from here on out).

Also, meet his dragon. You may end up in her mouth. But probably not. And with an Angelus and Manah on board... Things can only get worse. And by 'worse', I really mean better in the best way.


Marth is lending a hand in saving Princess Peach from Bowser's grasps. Someone needs to cook that turtle for some soup. Aside from this, I've really got no plans with Marth. He could use some strengthening of CR. I feel like for a while now, he's been sort of neglected.


Nabooru is... not really doing anything except teaching her dance class. She could definitely use the help. Pix and I have some way futuristic plans, but again that's a future thing. The present seems somewhat bleak. I think she's just still stewing over the whole Sagedom thing. (That happens when you feel you don't have someone reliable to talk with who might understand the situation the way it needs to be understood.)


Agitha is making family times. :3 Mommy Samus (who's really more like a goddess to her) and ... Daddy Majima(?) are some good starts. She hasn't done much recently, but I think as the season warms up, she'll make final plans for the bug house. (I think it's still a bit cold out at the moment. Those poor bugs would all die.) She could use something to get involved in.


Snake, by this time, has officially arrived in the academy. The thing is, he's going by Pliskin, and not Snake. At least, as long as he can before someone actually makes him admit to things. (He totally doesn't understand well why some of the people here know him and he's never seen them before.) He's doing that teaching thang with Boxes 101, so grab a box and get set. I think I might do a class log for him soon. Otherwise, he may just be making Otacon pee in closets or something.


Voile has kind of fallen off the map. I'm not really too sure what to do with her. Previously I've talked about her opening a contest hall in FDC, which people have expressed interest in doing. And I think I'll be working on that soon. Aside from that, I kind of... want to do some stuff that might make her relationship with Sonny a bit rocky? THEY HAVE TOO MUCH HAPPY? IMPOSSIBLE. I'm pretty much open to all kinds of ideas here.
