GAME PLOTTING
Use this handy form and suggest plot ideas you'd like to see in the game. We LOVE GAME-WIDE DEVELOPMENT IDEAS.

<b>Player:</b> <b>Idea:</b> This can be anything from "cafeteria food fight" to "campus-wide murder mystery". No idea is too big or small. Find interested parties, work out details, decide on when/where/how/why together! Just remember anything really huge should be run by the moderators real quick. Use your best judgement; things like hijacking the PA system, minor to moderate property destruction and brawls don't need mod approval, but things like exploding buildings and mass-death should get approval.

GOALS & DIRECTIONS: Hey, some of us have been here a really long time and might not know what direction to take our characters in anymore, or maybe you've been here only a few days and don't know where to start. There's no better time to start than now, so don't be afraid to express what things you'd like to do with your characters, regardless if it's something that might happen in the near future or a long ways away. Fall in love? Fall out of love? Graduate? Experience what it's like to be the opposite gender? An animal? In the body of someone else? Save the world? Try to destroy it? The more other players are aware of what you want to do, the better your chances are of making your wishes into reality!

THIRD PARTY SUGGESTIONS: Suggest new CR or character ideas, even if it has nothing to do with your own characters. Just put a "THIRD PARTY SUGGESTION" in the title of your comment when you browse the Character Plotting threads, and who knows? Maybe you just suggested a great interaction or idea no one has ever thought of before. And don't forget to spread the love around with as many people as you can so everyone gets a suggestion or two!

A few ground rules:

1. You don't HAVE to accept every offer that comes your way. Accept offers you are interested in, and politely say no to ideas you do not like.
   
2. An offer does NOT guarantee a log or plot development between your characters. Please remember that.
   
3. The final decision about which offers to accept or reject goes to the original poster of the request.

GAME PLOTTING

It's December and that means Olaf Old Man Winter no really Olaf the cold weather is making itself known. The Lake has completely frozen over by now, the vast majority of it stable enough for skating. (There are still areas of thin ice, so watch your step.) There will be a winter break from class-times, so check back with the calendar to see exactly when.

Smash's first snowfall of the season will be Decemeber 5th, and there will be a big open log for you to get all your snowball fights and snowmen and snow shenanigan on in.

The ever popular KISSLETOES will show up sometime a week after that; Smash's variety of Santalaceae are especially festive; once you get stuck under a mistletoe, you usually can't leave until you get smooched by someone.

There will also be a RIDICULOUSLY HUGE TREE showing up in the middle of the courtyard sometime this month, courtesy of one of our hardworking manly man faculty members, so keep an eye out for it. It'll be hard to miss and will be in need of DECORATING.

Otherwise the doors are quite open for plots and things of that sort! There's been mention of drugs and civil unrest among other things, so let's make this holiday season, ahem, smashing.

Don't forget Blind Dates are still being tagged! The match-ups this year are great and every thread deserve a read.

CIVIL UNREST INDEED

SO THERE'S BEEN TALKS ON THE PLURKOSPHERE OF CIVIL UNREST AND HUMAN VS. NON-HUMAN SEGREGATION and I don't know if you know but Seth is very much all about this and that is basically the core motivation of his entire character.

Something like this happened a couple of years ago (referred to as the "Freaks Get Out" plot), but this is something I'd direly like to experience again, and if I can provide an ideal cat catalyst for it to happen, I think I easily can with Seth and his drugs. Player vs. Player plots are something I'd love to have more of!

If you've been keeping up with the drug plot, Knuckles has the right hunch: Seth is using the drugs/drug money (and blood vials) to figure out a way to bridge the gap between human ↔ Pokemon transformations; something he'd ultimately like to control, hence the loophole of how he was able to kill a ghost type.

These are just things I can contribute on my end though, I don't know if anyone else has any particularly DISCRIMINATORY types of characters or could help spark some embers, make connections with the drugs/cause fear and panic (I'd easily be willing to say drug-related violence will become more common in FDC, perhaps maybe a string of "obviously targeted Pokemon because of their ability to transform into humans"?), or has any other or unrelated ideas, but YEAH LET'S MAKE THIS HAPPEN.

Seeking: Shadow knows a lot of dudes so expanding on his current CR, negative or positive, would be super swell. For N, I'd like him to meet a few more people and expand on who he currently has, too!
Goals & Directions: Yeah I got nothin' this time tbh. Might worm Shadow into possible FREAKS GET OUT things and have N be the Social Justice Pokemon Warrior he's known to be. Other than that, uh. OPEN FOR ANYTHING.

I'm just going to link the Plurk where I first brought this up, because people were doing some excellent brainstorming on that. (Apologies for my plurk background being so gross when viewed like that.)

Also going to say that despite not playing Uxie anymore I would still very much love to have some involvement in this hhhhh I WANNA PLAY TOO GUYS PLEASE CAN I 8'| I'd be willing to NPC Uxie again for this if no other suitable villains were available, but only if that doesn't break any rules. Copy X could also potentially work as an ember-sparker, but his BLATANT DISCRIMINATION is toward his fellow not-humans, so that might take some sneakiness.

Maybe the possibility of bringing in the city as a whole might help to escalate it, too? Smash has a lot of characters who wouldn't wanna opt in/would love and tolerate everyone/would give shonen speeches about justice/wouldn't ICly care, so using NPCs as set pieces might help convey the sense of "this is a real problematic tension" instead of "this is one or two jerks being one or two jerks?"

EDIT: A quick pastebin of potential ideas/things I remember being mentioned in the initial plurk. Nothing concrete, just potential ideas that might interest people? P.S. IT MENTIONS MY OWN DUDES AND POTENTIAL IDEAS A LOT ha haaa I'm sorry, this was kinda for my own reference initially.

Seeking: more butts, just like last time. Note: I'll probably be slow in the tagging department the beginning of this month. I expect things to even out mid-month.

Samus: IS GOING to be taking a bit of a backseat this month sans any drug plot involvement but I will probably throw her around snow logs and kissletoes because she's Grumpy and Not Very Full of Holiday Cheer unless it involves Gratuitous Drinking. (A drinking log would be fabu and long overdue, now that I think of it.)

Rick: I THINK THIS IS GOING TO BE THE MONTH. THE MONTH HE EXPERIENCES A HUMAN BODY. I finally figured out a design, I just need more time to draw icons sob and prepare a prologue of sorts. Rest assured, he will hit the ground running, full of bravado, awkward and gangle. Someone should make it worse help him out with that. I also still really want to do a class log and a network post, maybe I can sneak those in somehow...

Seth/Warren: Is going to be my top focus because I think this is where the drug plot is really going to take off and I hope he can be the Grinch who ruined Christmas a strong, antagonistic Big Bad presence--please see THIS THREAD...! If I can sneak a host club in before then, I will try, but I make no promises.

Seeking: Here is my old thread with links to even older threads. It has my character directions printed on the label. IN OTHER NEWS I am open to anything ranging from threads to CR development to draw logs to AIM logs, you name it!
Goals & Directions: I think it is time to get Ron involved in stuff as a scapegoat... If anyone needs this guy, he's available! Otherwise, nothing much has changed in the directions of my dudes.

Okay gonna rehash some old ideas tossed in with new ones because I don't want to go back and find when I suggested what.

-Black-out/snowed in! I still want this. I want all the face to face interaction and awkward blanket huddling.

-Every shirt/sweater/torso-related clothing has been replaced with ugly hoiday sweaters for like a week.

-OPPOSITE DAY/WEEKEND/WHATEVER. Complete 180 in personality.

-AU Week II.

-Pretentious Shakespeare and/or Fantasy Speech weekend.

-Wild and crazy New Year's parties.

-Mischievous Scandanavian Christmas Gnomes/Elves/Creatures running amok and doing things.

I talked with Jim regarding the plot and tiny!Naoto will work undercover and manage to talk with him as her backup, since Kanji isn't around anymore (sob). So near the end KIDNAPPINGS WOULD BE SUPER APPRECIATED. Also people finding out that Naoto is a girl (shock and horror etc).

Character(s): Char / Kieran / Lyra / Copy X / Potentially Alorah if she is accepted? I dunno.
Seeking: Things! The first few days of December are NIGHTMARISH HECTIC but past those I should be able to tag more consistently.

Copy X REALLY NEEDS TO MAKE FRIENDS. He's currently pretending he's The Future Version of X, so that could be a source of some confusion, but even if he might try to act sweet he's still as intolerable as anything deep down. Absolutely anyone he could get some CR with would be amazing. Ideas I have considered include: bugging the original X, something with his Truancy Team coworkers, possibly introducing him to the other AIs on campus.

Char is going to actually post a class log SOMEDAY I SWEAR TO GOD. I would love more people he can be an antagonistic lizard at, and I would also love to touch base with hs existing CR, too. Things I wanna do at some point include: a fight with Green, broter things discussed with Bret, broter things with Jolt (especially re: his pogle roots THIS COULD BE SUPER RELEVANT IF FREAKS GET OUT), maybe some things with Sasha/Marie because he hasn't had that chance in a while?

Kieran is slightly in backtag hell at the moment. A lot of his CR has dropped or threads we planned got shelved aside, so I'd be open to him making a few more connections.

Lyra is doing pretty okay for herself. Beside myself with glee at the potential prospects of future castmates, but also willing to party hearty with new or existing CR!

Alorah may not actually be in the game if her app is not accepted, so this is a big maybe!! But I would love to get a head-start on making CR with her. If there's anyone who would ever want or need a very quiet shadow doing them favours when they aren't looking, that's basically her schtick right there.

Seeking: CR!
Goals & Directions: My first goal is to tag more quickly, but that's a personal goal, not a character goal!
Anyway, let's see if I can't break this down.
Pit has pretty much assimilated into school life once more. He has much potential for direction. Lately he's been falling into slumps where all he wants to do is mope and think about Palutena, and what's more, his grades aren't doing so well. If anyone wants to help him out with academic stuff, I welcome that! Basically he's being a huge failure and feeling bad about it, ha ha ha haaaa.

Rhys is somewhat tentative at this point, but all I know is that he's not going to be doing so well for much longer. He's been doing some snooping about the drug problem at this school and he's getting onto something. He found out that Ai sells the lollipop drugs and that they were distributed by a guy named "Seth Richardson". He's going to try and do something about it, but on the way... he's going to be silenced. Those are the most immediate plans. He's probably going to wind up getting hurt.

Cress just got his other brother back, and now all three are together at last. (◕‿◕✿) At this point my goal for his development is just him trying to search for his own personal strength, like the other two Striaton triplets. Pretty simple, but at this point he is also considerably starved for CR. I want to build more connections!

Seeking: I'd like him to meet as many new people as possible, and as many species as possible. This is important, because he just got here and has no context; and with a history of blowing the shit out of anything that isn't human his CR will dictate what he does during the FGO plot. Will he work for unity, or side with humanity?
Goals & Directions: Gordon is at the moment stuck in this world, and is trying very hard to locate the temporal brane coordinates to build a portal back, as well as training and working on lesson plans. (Hence his oversleeping in recent posts.) He doen't want to admit it, but he could use the help. By the time he does figure out how to get back to his world (which will be somewhere around the new year, with up to a month's extra time depending on how many people he has helping him out.) He ought to have developed enough ties here to actually want to come back.

Seeking: Knuckles is currently bummed over Kitty being murdered and is in INVESTIGATION STATION MODE. He's been following whatever leads he can get and gathering a few allies. This time it's fairly personal for him being he was doing his best to look out for Kitty and he feels like gigantic mega failure at doing that. So currently he's that fun mix of angry, vengeful and vulnerable that causes him to be difficult to deal with at times.

Seeking: I'm up for anything with this guy - still playing out a nice big adventure thread with Riwane which might see his situation change up a bit depending where exactly it goes. But if anyone is in need of an insufferable wolfdouche to interact with, he's your guy. And, as always, he's a certified Pokeymans Trainer guy, so, if you have an as yet unnattached Pokemon who wants to be trained, he is an option for you.

OH MAN freaks get out plot was my favorite plot. If there is anything you would like from me there, I am at your disposal with my two freaks. XD Knuckles has always been fairly Pro-Non-Human Rights and was pretty involved in the previous round. Whereas Jon is just bitter and jaded and distrusts most Humans on sight.

And yes - investigation times are fun times. =)c

Goals & Directions: This has been a really slow year for me and I know I have said this every personals but I GRADUATE IN TWO WEEKS?! SO MAYBE I CAN GET MORE ACTIVELY INVOLVED IN THINGS....?!?!?!

Blue has a few plans for some eventuality, but they are a small sliver in the larger scale of things. I'd still like her to get around and meet new people/strengthen the bonds she's been forming outside of various RGB team settings. (But still definitely more RGB I want all of it give it to me.) PS go on more dates.

Bulba is doing quite well for himself and has a lot of plans that will happen at times, but I would love for other things too *v* Casual distraction flings, helping people with RA stuff, being a tutor... he is good for all things u3u~ ALSO at some point I'm possibly going to have him set up a Lights Display in the trees around campus and such at some point in the month because I CAN. If people would like that sort of thing.

Celebi bluuurgh I've had a log idea for her for a while now but haven't probably gotten around to doing it. She doesn't really have any plans and I've kind of dropped several balls with her so I don't... really know what I want to do with her right now?? I am poop.

Izzy should get more active as I get out of school times cause she definitely should be all up in this mystery business. I JUST CONTINUE TO SUCK SORRY.
