Hiatus

I have been in the hospital since Wednesday morning, and I thought I was going to get to go home today, but it doesn't look like that's going to be a possibility. I've developed some allergic reaction to the antibiotics they have me on here and now they want to do minor surgery tomorrow morning.

So.

I have no idea when I'm going home. I'm going to extend my hiatus another week. This effects Max, Bowser, Duster, Apple Kid and Jock. I intend to participate in Secret Santa still, but I don't know about getting things in by the 17th at this rate.


To the best guess of everyone, I have been bitten by a brown recluse. It is on my neck. It is very, very painful and it just isn't getting any better.

I was bitten on Tuesday around 10am, by 4pm I had a giant welt and could barely move my neck. I went to the emergency room and they sent me home with antibiotics and painkillers. The pain that night was awful and I only got four hours of very bad sleep, waking up at 4am. I threw up at 5:30. After this I went back to the emergency room and I've been in the hospital ever since.

Oh, my goodness. (We have them here and I've heard horror stories, so I can just imagine how terrible this is.)

Please take very good care of yourself, rest, do whatever you need to. I'm so sorry to hear about the 'present' from that recluse.

Yes, thank you. I am going to have a world of Things that I Have To Do once I get out of here, mostly related to Grading All The Things.

That's all due on the 17th. You can see my dilemma.

Yes, that is a palpable dilemma. Let me know where you feel you might stand on the 17th after you Do All The Other Things and we can definitely come up with a thing.

Maybe you'll be lucky and soon that big welt will dissapear and you will develop awesome super powers. Super spider powers. Like the ability to live under the sink, or the ability to make attics look spooky and haunted with your webs.

(No, in all seriousness, I hope you're feeling better soon buddy - Hopefully it wasn't a recluse and just some much less venomous thing you happen to have a bad reaction to. Good luck in surgery and with getting rest. I know those shifting hospital beds do nothing to make life restful. =/ *ALL THE MANLY HUG*)

Oh my gosh Chris, I'm so sorry....

Brown recluses I think are the only poisonous spiders in my state and I always fear getting bitten by one.

Oh jeez. 8| I REALLY HOPE YOU RECOVER QUICKLY and hospital ordeals are as short-lived as possible. If you are bored or in need of things to take your mind off Hospital Hell at any point I could maybe share some romhacks/emulators? It's not much, but WOW this situation sounds horrible.
