O hai.
I am HB. I am probably as new as it gets. I didn't even know about Dreamwidth until a couple weeks ago. I followed Blackjack here because I like to RP and this group looks interesting.
The character I'm going to be playing is Pulseman. He is a half-human, half-virtual being known as a half-C-Life or electrace, meaning that he can exist in the real world as well as in cyberspace, and can travel from one to the other at will by jumping through computer screens. He also has the ability to charge electric energy and channel it through his body for various purposes, including using it as a form of attack. He's fairly obscure, but Pokemon fans might recognize him, either them or some oldschool Game Freak fans and people who subscribed to the SEGA Channel when it existed. I was introduced to him by a friend on Whirled who made an animated avatar out of his game sprites. Since then I've been doing a lot of research on him, mostly because I want to draw a comic book of him; he's the only Game Freak character (or one of a very select few) who hasn't appeared in a comic book--and he's the only one who is a superhero!
I'll be working on getting him integrated with the school environment soon. I'll also be getting some more info up on my journal for those who aren't very familiar with the character. Totally looking forward to playing with everyone. :D
