With the nudging/bribing of a certain lazy, sweets-obsessed champion, I've returned to this place after a year of inactivity.

For everyone new, I'm Blackjack and I play Cyrus, Lord Douchebag Supreme of Pokémon DPPt. When last he was in Smash, he'd been reverted to his seven year old self and went by the name "Helio", but now he's fully back and ready to...well, do the same old long-winded lecturing about the universe and such that we all know him for.

He's the teensiest bit of an uptight know-it-all, but at least I have one character who isn't a jerk on purpose! Most of the time!

so, wow, hi smashlings! it's been forever and a half! some may remember me, some may not, but whatever the case, i'm here for a super brand new start! my name is nikki, and i'm a hardworking homemaker and caretaker at home for my dad, as well as a huge video gaming enthusiast, tea connoisseur ( as much a connoisseur of tea as cats are connoisseurs of canned fish ), and a massive clown. i spend my free time goofing off on twitter and being a rampant ball of energy with no end in sight. think the energizer bunny on steroids and without any potentially negative side effects other than the occasional crash of extra sleepiness. yes.

i used to be pretty reclusive and antsy in my time back here before, but things have changed a lot, and i'm a huge, extroverted ball of sunshine, daisies, and orbs of flank steak. i'm excited to have fun here again in a more proper manner!

( the ultimate question: does your cat roleplay? no? oh. okay. ) he's perhaps even more of a lackadaisy, energetic lump than i am! he's also quite naive and sweet, but with hidden, dark secrets and malicious programming lain beneath his surface. he's a Thing. please enjoy him. take care of your clear with the proper enclosed instruction manual, and remember to feed him at least twice a day.

Hello all! Moonbei here, returning after a long absence with Chiyo the Vaporeon. She's been traveling through various worlds for two years, but here at Smash, only a year has passed. From her journey, she's matured and grown to be more open-minded and calm. Therefore, she is no longer the pessimistic, nervous trainwreck she used to be. For those who don't know, I'm Carbon, and I played at Smash for a long time. I took a break for a while but I'm back now, with Byrne from the Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks.

Even though I played him here for over two years, I'm giving him a memory wipe so he won't remember anything that took place here. Also he has an earlier canonpoint, so he's a lot... less pleasant.

He teaches the ever-so-useful class on how to drive trains. Because why not.

A big hello to everyone!

My name's Rex, and as you can probably guess I'm the fresh new face in these here parts. With me to Smash Academy I'm bringing the very lovely, and talented Mona from the Wario Ware, Inc. series of games. If you've never played the games, basically the story run-down is that Wario one day got bored and started a video game company with his friends. Of course this being Wario, he always manages to cheat his employees out of their pay and run off with the profits. Mona is one of his friends who continually gets duped by him. Yet she's the only one at the company who calls Wario out on his crap. She also has a bazillion part-time jobs and changes her wardrobe to match said bazillion jobs with each game.

It's great to be here. I look forward to meeting all of you and having fun! I'll be putting up a post shortly should you wish to interact with Mona.

Hello Smash Academy, this is Iyo bringing another dude! This time it is a derpy robot from that one righting robots the game-- I mean Mega Man X!

Axl is a ~mysterious~ robot introduced late in the X series, where he can copy other robot's abilities. X7 Specifically revolves around that. He's taken from after X8, where Axl gets disabled by the dead final boss... He'll be completely recovered by the time he comes to Smash, though!

He's basically a dumb clueless kid in a robot's body. He pretty much only knows how to fight so please do teach him about other fun things to do! I'd like to take note that his voice will sound like a certain popular anime kid detective. Granted, he's nowhere as smart as said detective so he's gonna be very clueless with a lot of things. Like the thing with Zero. And with X-lookalike.

Anyways, I'm excited to get a robutt into the game! 8D

Hi everybody! New player here, Dahlia, bringing Midna to the game.

Midna joins the brawl! (We can hope to hear/see that someday, right?) For anyone who doesn't know, Midna is from the fantastic Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. She is a Twili and like her icon appearance she can act impish, is outspoken and sometimes harsh. Frequently throughout the game she is condescending to our hero Link and slips in jeers while giving him hints from time to time. But her intentions are ultimately good; she's not a baddie.

I'm picking her up post-game, disposed with a yearning to return to the light world once again and interact amongst the light dwellers - YOU! Maybe even help out by sharing some knowledge of the light and dark in arts, being a natural born resident of a realm of shadows and all.

I've heard excellent things about this game and the players and look forward to meeting you all! I hope we can have fun together :]

Hello my name is called Parcel and I'm here to ruin everyone's life with this guy, Black Shadow from the F-Zero series. He introduces himself to people as the Emperor of Evil and I don't know what I could say that that doesn't already tell you...Summarized, he is kind of a magic powered race demon mob boss and dad to Blood Falcon, because that is just the kind of game F-Zero is. He is here as your Drivers Ed teacher, which is basically a front for finding new F-Zero racers to work for him!

People will probably get hurt in his classes. A lot.

ATTENTION SMASH ACADEMY it is I, Jess, and I bring you news. Good or bad, that is up to you.

First, a new character. Shinta is from the second Ouendan game (those games where you tap circles and make people dance for a better tomorrow, or most of the time to make other people do silly things), and he's coming to school as a student because his boss told him he needs to learn him how to fight. He is very enthusiastic about everything he does. He is probably going to be a nightmare to deal with if you, too, are not excited. If you'd like to read his app for more information it's right here.

Second, a not-so-new character. I've re-apped Kyle Hyde, the main character of the Hotel Dusk games (the ones where you play a bumbling idiot solving problems that aren't his own). He was here last in 2011 and a lot of things have changed around town since then, but to him the last time he was here was, like, 6 months ago. Wizards, man. ~~i haven't been keeping up with the drop post so~~ He is staying in TD-17 again, so sorry to his neighbors. TD-17 is the Worst Room. If you want to discuss previous CR with him go ahead and drop me a line! Psycho #1 was

stay_classy_cat aka Seth Richardson as you guys probably knew him, actual name ~~smelly cat~~ ~~dick cat~~ Warren, and he DIED. But he's coming bask as as 2spoopy ghost type

nyamask because SOMEONE WAS MESSING AROUND WITH SHADOWBUGS AND SUBSPACE PORTALS. WHO WAS IT. WHO DID THAT. Anyway Warren is going to hang out in BW-01 which is the haunted dorm. He's technically a senior but will probably skip a lot of his classes in favor of haunting people and being a gigantic asshole again, so I'm sorry already. At least he's not hellbent on world domination anymore, ha ha... ha... [Application, Permissions, HMD]

Psycho #2 is

bloodvile aka Blood Falcon aka Captain Falcon's ~~evil clone~~ evil clone. He's six years old and illiterate and a freshman and a gigantic manchild. He can also drive a ~~giant bar of soap~~ car but that's probably his only redeeming quality. He'll be staying in BE-16 attempting to learn how to read and write while indiscreetly attempting to kill Captain Falcon. Woe and betide anyone who rooms with him. [Application, Permissions, HMD]

Psycho #3 is

icequeen_aran who is an intergalactic ~~booty hunter~~ bounty hunter who explodes planets and--oh wait... WHILE I'M HERE THOUGH WITH SAMUS, I'm thinking about wrapping up a few month+ old threads, which I believe are just as follows:

• Manus and Model Z FUUUUSSSSIONNNNN DAAAAAANCE: I'm thinking Manus will be pretty pleased to have a temporary set of armor like this and a it will be a unique experience for him, once he settles into the idea. (Barring moments he forgets he does not have absolutely privacy anymore ha ha ha...).
• Manus and Pit exploring the underdark: I know with Samus it was a bit more clear to her the statues are former Smash Academy residents but that kind of information isn't quite as profound to Manus who has no real ties or connections to here being new as he is. At a slight loss of what kind of direction to take this thread. He might want to see if he could revive any statues like Pit did but it's not something I really want to pursue OOCly since Pit already played that out. addendum: MAN I DIDN'T SEE THAT TAG I feel like a dweeb. I can do rhino fights lets go yeah yeah.
• Ian & Samus heart wrenching post AU discrepancies: fine with continuing to tag this for a bit but I imagine by the end of the thread they reconcile angst and old memories and maybe they both pass out on the floor in a sad cuddle puddle.
• Samus with skybus team to adventure island (ROB, Gordon, Joel): mission goals are to get them on the island, find Professor Hector's lab buried somewhere in the island and dig through his old research. This would reveal what's needed to get rid of the subspace portal and return everything to normal.

AND UNRELATED TO ANY OF MY DUDES,

Hello Smash Academy! Iyo here with yet another dude, Masao "Mark" Inaba, from the first Persona game in the series!

He's a ~~yet another idiot~~ strong-willed short guy with a yellow beanie hat who never knows when to give up. He causes some trouble to the group by getting caught and jailed by demons early on in the game. He likes graffiti art and dancing!

He's also from the same game Brown is from. And the past game of where Nanjo's from too. Mentioning either of them will get an irritated frown from Mark.

Hello! It's Kate with a new-old cutie pie.

Ai the Purple Pikmin has been at Smash before, but may be new to some! For those who were familiar with her at all, she is still pretty much the same as before.

If you don't know much about her, she's a five-year-old Pikmin girl who doesn't understand anything and seems to befriend a lot of weirdos, especially men who are like 5 times older than her. She's is currently at the flower stage. And she is perpetually, mentally about 8 but looks 12 as a human. She is very heavy and can lift really heavy thing.
