• PLAYER'S CHECK RESULTS

Let's get that out of the way first. The following have been given das boot:

• CATBALLS AND ROBOTS CONCLUSION

Just in case you missed it because you were too busy fighting robots or crushing hearts, it was televised and viewable here for everyone. After a long and intense battle, Eggman defeated Seth. Seth's body, in a very Akira fashion, became too unstable from the strenuous fighting and trying to act as a medium for the shadow bugs, and exploded into purple goo/dissipated in the air. It was real gross but victory was Eggman's. YAY...?!

With Seth's defeat, everyone who was catball'd was released from their spherical prisons, and their clone bodies similarly dissipated into the air. The real characters might awaken somewhere behind the Rocket Game Corner a casino, in various states of confusion. Stumbling back to Smash Academy shouldn't be too hard. That still leaves people who were robotisized as a problem, however.

FEAR NOT!



Mayor Tabuu (the real one) now free from catballs, will make an appearance.

"Citizens of Smash Academy, you have my deepest gratitude. The student you knew as Seth Richardson was a very dangerous individual. His real name was Warren, and his devices were powerful enough to imprison even me. Without your help I dread to think what could have happened.

Dr. Ivo Robotnik has also far overstepped his boundaries in my absence. His crimes are grave and wide and merit punishment. ...However, thanks are also in order for him and for his heroic efforts in taking Warren down. For that, he is sentenced to 300 hours of community service, and must unrobotisize everyone and return them to normal.

I also insist Headmaster Hand extend your summer vacation and grant everyone an extra week off to rest and recuperate before resuming their studies. You will be financially compensated by me personally as thanks."

If you haven't tagged in yet, or just got started, or are in the midst of backdating PLEASE don't feel discouraged and keep doing your thing. There is also a HOSPITAL LOG up for those who were hurt in the scuffle! If you didn't get your robot parts beat out of you, de-robotisizing might take a few days given the sudden volume/possibility of machine sabotage and repairs, so feel free to use that as compensation for backtagging if you want. Either way, everyone should be back to normal by the time classes start up again.

• ATP + other Smash stuff + SDR2 translations + spoiler etiquette

· As you may or may not know, app_this_plz just recently went up! ATP is a once-a-month post that occurs the last Saturday of every month at 7pm EST sharp and is an EXCELLENT WAY to look for and enable castmates! Smash's game advertisement is here (THANK YOU AGAIN FOR POSTING IT FOR US, PRINCE!) if you want to utilize that in your enabling. Just remember to be courteous of preferences, check to see if the character is appable, and follow the rules of ATP.

· Personals just went up and the calendar has been updated! Important date to note: Classes start Sept. 9th!

· There is a Detention log up for anyone who blew up and got banned from the pool party needs it, running all month.

· Now that Activity check has been processed, we have done the dorm shuffle. Check out the new Dorm List. As always, if there's anyone in particular you want to room with don't hesitate to let us know your preferences. ICly, your character wakes up with all of their belongings intact, but in a different room, possibly with a different roommate. How did this happen!?!?? Crazy Hand Crazy Hand.

· A question was recently brought to us regarding Super Dangan Ronpa 2 and its eligibility to be apped. As the current unofficial translation/Let's Play of SDR2 is incomplete and widely reported to take many creative liberties at the expense of characterization, we've decided to bar SDR2 characters from being apped for the time being. Once the Let's Play has been finished, or if there is another (complete) less controversial translation of the game that can be cross-referenced for ICness, then we will allow SDR2 characters to be apped. Sorry!

· In Smash we do not have a formal etiquette regarding spoilers (exceptions being certain canons Pokemon that are hugely anticipated in Smash which we handle on a case-by-case basis), but it should go without saying to please try and to be considerate to your fellow players. Please use the «cut» tag in your applications, or provide an opt-out permissions post if it's a canon that's big and current and popular and full of spoilers. As moderators, we get all kinds of spoiled reviewing applications regardless, so don't worry about us. Just use your best judgement and be courteous to your fellow players!

Leaving a separate comment here as a personal thank you to everyone who's participated in this plot. It started out as a player plot and grew and grew and so many wonderful things came from it. I'm truly happy to have been able to been a part of this thing. I didn't expect it to last this long AT ALL (and at times I feel like it shouldn't have) but I hope I was able to provide fun, sad, dramatic, heartbreaking, goofy, silly, whatever kinds of roleplaying situations for you through this, Smash. I've had a blast with it, and this was exactly the kind of plot I created Seth for.

So he has met his end and thus his part in the story has finished. This was his destiny and his fate all along, planned from the start. I've been given permission from the other mod ladies to continue to backdate the fight but otherwise this is his official drop notice. I'm thrilled I was able to bring it all to a solid conclusion, and I couldn't have done it without you guys.

PS: I did leave a leftover plot hook; that being the source of where Seth got all these nasty shadowbugs from in the first place. If you want to play with that element, I can point you in the right direction and set the story, but I don't plan on running any plots regarding that. That'll be up to you!

Knuckles will forever be confused by all this. 'But he SEEMED like such a nice guy, y'know!?' Because he's a doofus. But thanks for the plot, it was super fun all round and I had a great time with it. \o/ Seth's particular brand of dickishness will be missed by more than just me, I'm sure.

T-THANKS there were a lot of things I felt I could have done better, and I wonder if people were just plain sick of it by the time it finished (really understandable) but I am happy to have brought it to conclusion as opposed to letting it taper off into mystery and unfinished. ness.
