Here's what's going down: in the near future, Lyra will be announcing a charity bake sale as a sort of goodwill gesture between humans and nonhumans. What she doesn't know, however, is that Bowser is going to be slipping some Magikoopa dandruff or something into the flour. (Eeeewww.) Anyone who consumes these tainted baked goods or accidentally inhales too much flour during the baking process or whatever will find themselves slowly transforming into something that's very much not their species at all. What they turn into and how quickly they turn into it is entirely up to you, of course, and participation is super optional. If you want full-on body horror with a slow mutation from man to Weedle, go for it. If that squicks the heck out of you, feel free to play a less ick version.

Want your human to start sprouting feathers while their arm bones painfully rearrange themselves into wings? Go for it! Want your Jigglypuff to gradually grow four rows of teeth as they begin to morph into a shark-lanturnfish-lamprey? Sure, why not? Want to have fun with primal instincts, territoriality, and a thirst for prey taking over? Run wild. Want your grumpy big bad to deal with the realization they are turning into a fluffy baby duckling? YES.

Officially, the event will be starting on June 28 and running for roughly a week, but Jeff and our best buddy Eggman might have a thing or two up their sleeve, so there's also the possibility that things could last even longer if you want to drag out the transformation process.

In the meantime, feel free to use this post for questions and general plotting purposes. If you're having trouble deciding what you'd like your character to be morphing into, there are plenty of real world/mythological creatures out there, as well as lots of Smash canons to use!

he will become mighty aggressive and basically loopy, defensive, and all-around unstable to begin with. he'll calm down a little later on, around the second half of the event, reducing him to a confused and surprisingly docile puppy hedgedog state.

sO WHO WANTS TO EITHER,
1. BE MAULED BY SHADOW,
2. GIVE HIM TUMMY RUBS AND MAKE HIS TAIL THUMP, OR,
