Hey, there! I'm Bea and I'm completely new to the game. The character I've brought is Quistis Trepe from Final Fantasy VIII, which I'm always happy to make fun of. Quistis is cool, pragmatic, and just a touch awkward and she'll be teaching... idk, a class on Magic. Offense/Defense, maybe. Don't expect brevity to be utilized in it.

Hello, Prince! I'm afraid I don't have a 3DS (saving slowly for a 2DS since I can't do 3D without getting headaches). I haven't ever finished an FE game, so we can be on the same level.

FF8 is basically the one where they really reached with it after a huge jump in graphic quality. It had a lot of lofty goals and fell short of most of them. I like to describe it as "A pretty solid and interesting first disc, then they got a bunch of people together to write fanfiction about the first disc and the other three are mash-up of that fanfic". I hold no grand delusions about it and I think that the best part of it is the amount of implication and head canon that can come from it! The sidequests are the weirdest in this game and involve chasing down hints from an occult magazine to find an alien and chasing after a monkey for their version of a lake monster.

Amongst other things.

Basically, I don't take my canon seriously at all aslkdfjaskld don't start me on it, I won't shut up.
