► GOALS & DIRECTIONS: Hey, some of us have been here a really long time and might not know what direction to take our characters in anymore, or maybe you've been here only a few days and don't know where to start. There's no better time to start than now, so don't be afraid to express what you'd like to do with your characters, regardless if it's something that might happen in the near future or a long ways away. Fall in love? Fall out of love? Graduate? Experience what it's like to be the opposite gender? An animal? In the body of someone else? Save the world? Try to destroy it? The more other players are aware of what you want to do, the better your chances are of making your wishes into reality!

► THIRD PARTY SUGGESTIONS: Suggest new CR or character ideas, even if it has nothing to do with your own characters. Just put a "THIRD PARTY SUGGESTION" in the title of your comment when you browse the Character Plotting threads, and who knows? Maybe you just suggested a great interaction or idea no one has ever thought of before.

► You know the usual rules: play nice, you don't have to say yes to every offer, be polite and all that jazz.

GAME PLOTTING

Smash Academy turns 7 years old this April 25th! Incredible! But with this longevity perhaps that means it's time for some changes to keep Smash's spring in its step.

GAME SETTING CHANGE DISCUSSION POST

Please don't hesitate to add to the discussion if any thoughts come to mind. Until then modly types will continue to discuss things privately and try to work out the logistics of what everyone wants and how it can be best implemented, and follow up with a poll of some kind to iron things out even more.

Until then spring is in bloom (that means cherry blossoms)! Graduation will likely be next end of next month.

So a long time ago Flint took a bunch of people to the wilderness for CRAZY SURVIVORMAN CAMPING. Would anybody be interested in doing that again? Maybe they could fight a bear.

Character(s): Sonny Moe Snorlax
Seeking: Pizza.
Goals & Directions: So, Sonny is still kind of dealing with being on the losing side of that whole 'Egg Carrier Crashing into the Lake' thing that happened. He was just guarding a Hallway - using his bulk as a barrier, like a Snorlax do. Other than that, he's up for Ukulele jam sessions and eating parties and napping parties and all the things. Quite possibly the absolute friendliest person you will ever meet in your life.

Character(s): Jon Talbain
Seeking: Inner Peace.
Goals & Directions: Jon actually suffered a little for activity last month so I'd like to get him a bit more Out There and Involved and the like. If anyone needs a sparring partner or a trainer or a tutor in the arts of marshall, he's your guy. Also: Giant doge, if that's a thing you like.

Character(s): Joel
Seeking: His Humanity.
Goals & Directions: I'll admit to floundering a little with him. If anyone needs a surly-ass old guy either bossing them around or awkwardly trying to be a normal person in their general vicinity, here's your boy. He has an assortment of weapons, likes building things with wood and he's got a pretty nice beard. If beards are something you enjoy.

Character(s): Knuckles the Echidna.
Seeking: Somewhere Nice to Dig Holes.
Goals & Directions: Knuckles is sort of settled in enough by now that he's less phased by mentions of the Prior Him that was here. Still not over the whole 'shyness around females' thing that's been huge amounts of fun to play, so, I'm always up for more of that if that's a thing other people also find fun/funny/bearable/tolerable/etc. But he does lack a little direction and I'd like to fix that so if anyone is interested in ADVENTURES!!!!!!! he's a guy who dearly loves those.

Character(s): Clear, an extroverted person with a few very big, very daunting secrets! beep boop
Seeking: Expanding current CR would be nice, but I'd also love for him to meet new people!
Goals & Directions: Clear has a lot of development room with his reclusive nature. He has secrets to hide, from his creation by Toue's hand down to his face, and has a lot of internal conflict that will eventually boil over. He also has a murderous streak if you know which berserk buttons to hit, but they're quite difficult to reach without any very close friends having been made yet.

Fight the android. Fight the killer robot. I dare you.

Seeking: World domination
Goals & Directions: Having just come off of a coma due to the destruction of his airship, Eggman will be relatively powerless as he rebuilds his equipment. Eventually he's going to leave and return with an all new force.

Seeking: Peace and friendship
Goals & Directions: She's on her guard with Eggman back in action, but is also making a concerted effort to enjoy herself and live for herself for a while, having come to grips with the nature of FDC. If anyone wants to hang out with her, I'm game.

Seeking: Treasure
Goals & Directions: As a new arrival, she's still learning the ropes and finding a place for herself. She's working security, but also casing the place for anything of value. She'll be out trying to race, and working on Extreme Gears if anyone feels like they want to try riding hoverboards.

Goals & Directions: Her relationship with Mac has finally advanced to the next stage! And with spring finally here, she wants to try out for all the teams. And she will. Don't have any long term goals for her, so if anyone has anything they want to do with her, I'm game.

Goals & Directions: Jolt is very much lacking in direction, and I'm open to any suggestions for him at all. He's competitive, snarky, and always hungry.

Goals & Directions: Shantae is similarly lacking in direction. She's still running dance club, and she's met a number of new people lately. But I'm open to any and all suggestions for her, especially if people want to meet her or work on existing CR with her.

Seeking: Everlasting peace
Goals & Directions: Rock is dealing with the knowledge of his crappy future, and helping three future Reploids deal with life in peace time. Meanwhile he's developing his relationship with Lucca, and trying to enjoy his school life. I'm open to anyone who wants to do anything with him.

Goals & Directions: No huge goals right now for Tails, just kinda seeing where things take him and deciding from there. except for, well, things with Wave, that counts as a goal right

Goals & Directions: Still working toward Security team and catching that Porygon (which he will ultimately nickname Socket, btw). Looking for opportunities to get him outside and around people more often, instead of holed up in the computer lab. Also, got a wishlist. IRL, finals are coming up with two group projects, so my activity is likely going to be kept to a minimum while I try to round up this flea circus.

Character(s): Mona - Super bubbly game developer who is friends/works for a smelly jerk and has too many part-time jobs. Often called a scatterbrain, but gets feisty if you don't pay her properly for her services.
Seeking: Always looking for and expanding on CR. Logs involving the stadium, practice after school, and random shenanigans are most welcome.

Goals & Directions: Thanks to the Great Excitebike Migration Tsunami of 2015 the Mona Cycle is in need of major repairs which has left Mona bummed out to the max. Be nice to have her finally get her butt over to the stadium as well and practice fighting moves with a few people. Looking to also throwing her into a wild adventure and activities of some sort. As always I'm open for suggestions of any kind or, if you're looking to start new CR and expand on existing CR I'm happy to oblige either way.

Goals & Directions: He's cruising along fine at the moment, but I'm super game for any curveballs that might come his way. Especially a fan of fight logs -- if you ever want your character to try out a spar or two, then why not ring up the resident hugeass safety-orange dragon?

Goals & Directions: Harpy's brand-spanking-new here, so I really want him to make all kinds of new CR. He's suddenly got the time and freedom to explore some hobbies and try to get used to like-300-years-ago society, so I think it'd be a lot of fun for him to meet a bunch of different people and try some stuff out.

My activity fell towards the end of last month, but once I move and get settled in next week, it should pick right back up. Sorry all the delays, my loves. Thank you for your patience. I've just been... sidetracked, as of late.

Character(s): Chiyo is a sweet and shy little Vaporeon trying her best to be a good Pokemon and friend.
Seeking: Nothing in particular. I love everything.
Goals & Directions: Chiyo is working hard to build confidence and fighting skills. She's got training with Jon and fencing with Caim, but she's always up for new things and meeting new people. Other than that, she's simply... there. Haha... spending quality time with fwiends and all. If you'd like this sweetheart to warm up your characters, send them her way.

Character(s): Acacia is kind of sweet in her own way and not a shy Sandslash doing whatever she wants to have fun. She loves her mama best and is full of sass.
Seeking: Meeting new people, mischievous things, anything naughty and fun (pranks, pranks, pranks???)
Goals & Directions: There are no directions at the moment. She's just out and about enjoying her new human body and playing around. For goals, I guess it'd just be to have her meet up with friends and make new acquaintances (and purposely make them uncomfortable). Want to fluster your character? Have some playful banter? Goals & Directions: Gordon is in lab-resident mode in an attempt to use science to bash away the loss of Ziio from his mind. It's... not quite working.

Character(s): Lucca Ashtear, fire mage and teen girl gadgeteer with a fixation on robots and robotics.
Seeking: Meeting new people and Plenty of action logs.
Goals & Directions: Lucca is on cloud nine because of her new boyfriend! However, the idea of being a girlfriend is still something unfamiliar to her.

Goals & Directions: Eggman's alive! Now he can go back to being a total ass to him without any guilt! Also his relationship with Blaze is something he's enjoying a lot, but he isn't quite sure what to do now...

Mac has a spring in his step as his relationship with Daisy has now gotten a bit more serious! He finally had done it! He's a chipper boy right now and is always in the mood for new things.

Connor is suffering right now, both actually and me finding things to do. With Eirika and his mom gone, he's been have a secretly horrible time. Only people really close to him would probably notice, he doesn't let his suffering show and he isn't really acting so different (except maybe he's not so active around so much).

Goals & Directions:
MAX - Max is going to do a series of internet videos about weight lifting starring guest stars. You should get in on this if you're buff. Bros, Ladybros, everybody. Come on down. Gordon, maybe you should sit this one out.
BOWSER - Bowser is currently trying to better himself by... no, he's not doing any of that. Bowser is probably going to do wheelies in the lawn in his giant car that has spiked tires. Or otherwise find ways to be a jerkass.
JOCK - Is always looking for new friends. He wants to be your forever friend. He loves to train and eat meat.
HAGAKURE - Is taking care of his chickens. And might be trying to learn a martial art that doesn't require him to hurt anyone.
KAI - Will have a PE log up sometime soon. I promise this. Other than this, he's still trying to support his soggy wet napkin of a junior member.
