GAME PLOTTING
Use this handy form and suggest plot ideas you'd like to see in the game. We LOVE GAME-WIDE DEVELOPMENT IDEAS.

<b>Player:</b> <b>Idea:</b> This can be anything from "cafeteria food fight" to "campus-wide murder mystery". No idea is too big or small. Find interested parties, work out details, decide on when/where/how/why together! Just remember anything really huge should be run by the moderators real quick. Use your best judgement; things like hijacking the PA system, minor to moderate property destruction and brawls don't need mod approval, but things like exploding buildings and mass-death should get approval.

CHARACTER PLOTTING
Use this handy form to make your own threads and suggest CR (character relations) you'd like to see in this game.

<b>Player:</b> <b>Character(s):</b> <b>Seeking:</b> Log / Meet New People / Interaction / People to Bother / AIM logs / Tegaki logs, ect. <b>Goals & Directions:</b> optional but recommended

GOALS & DIRECTIONS: Hey, some of us have been here a really long time and might not know what direction to take our characters in anymore, or maybe you've been here only a few days and don't know where to start. There's no better time to start than now, so don't be afraid to express what things you'd like to do with your characters, regardless if it's something that might happen in the near future or a long ways away. Fall in love? Fall out of love? Graduate? Experience what it's like to be the opposite gender? An animal? In the body of someone else? Save the world? Try to destroy it? The more other players are aware of what you want to do, the better your chances are of making your wishes into reality!

THIRD PARTY SUGGESTIONS: Suggest new CR or character ideas, even if it has nothing to do with your own characters. Just put a "THIRD PARTY SUGGESTION" in the title of your comment when you browse the Character Plotting threads, and who knows? Maybe you just suggested a great interaction or idea no one has ever thought of before. And don't forget to spread the love around with as many people as you can so everyone gets a suggestion or two!

A few ground rules:

1. You don't HAVE to accept every offer that comes your way. Accept offers you are interested in, and politely say no to ideas you do not like.
   
2. An offer does NOT guarantee a log or plot development between your characters. Please remember that.
   
3. The final decision about which offers to accept or reject goes to the original poster of the request.

IT'S STILL COLD OUT. IT'S STILL SNOWY. Winter break just ended and classes are starting again, so let's see some awesome class logs.

Idea:
I've been saying this for a while and it's usually in some form of a joking manner. While I don't necessarily have it fleshed out or greatly detailed, I've been wanting an invasion by the grotesqueries. It could be through the portals that they have in FDC, which might result in a temporary closure after they get rid of the flying babies.

I understand it's a bit on the grim side and may be too heavy for some people to take, so definitely an opt-in sort of deal. (Anyone not involved quite easily have either used the portals to go back home prior to the invasion. Or they also could have hidden in the dorms or something. The grotesqueries don't seem to be smart enough to open doors or windows.)

Notably, it'd be a good chance for me to shamelessly self-plug Caim's 'redemption' into it since he'd be the only one to really know how to handle the situation, but even without him being involved, I'd still like to see something of this nature come about.

A FUN FAIR CARNIVAL THIIING

Idea: FUN FAIR. CARNIVAL. WHATEVER THEY'RE CALLED I DON'T GO TO THEM.

But I was chatting with someone and the idea of something like this popped up because of a thing. Maybe not right now or any time soon, maybe around June-July? Just a fun big thread where characters can go and do stuff whether they're roped into it or not.

Maybe it can just be a normal thing, nothing weird about it, it's come to the city and people are just going to go. Or if we had something like this around say October, it could be spooky/be odd/YOU CAN'T LEAVE/straaaange in some way.

I don't have any clear ideas in mind, but I figured something like it might be fun. also i want red to win a bunch of pokemon plushes WAIT NO

yes I WANT THIS TOO. Cute face to face interactions and no network. I wonder if it would be desirable to go the extra mile and throw in some wizard magic and extend it to all electronics not working/malfunctioning, cellphones and the like.

Idea: Gordon's experiments at night cramped in the basement go hilariously horribly wrong. And the result is...

Something I'm open to suggestions for! Does he summon a monster? Cause a campus-wide genderwap, species-swap or age change? Negate gravity? Or is it just a good old-fashioned million-joule explosion? When you push around the fabric of reality, it has a tendency to push back, so anything can happen here.

MASS BODYSWAPS have been very popular! We haven't had a genderswap in years either. AU week was also very popular and something like that could easily happen again, I think.

RUMOR MILL

Hi Hello. This is an idea I had around the first time I had Izzy around, but never got around to implementing/seeing if it would work so LET'S SEE HOW PEOPLE FEEL. NOW. This is less plotting and... more a thing...

So Izzy is a sneaky mcsneak and listens to all your conversations. She has zero reservations about talking about them, if she feels they are interesting enough... or if people just want to know about them. Previously, I liked the idea of her sometimes announcing things that were going on that some people might have missed, like the annhilation of Beedril in Viridian Forest way back when.

SO, dear readers, consider this. Would you perhaps like a post where you can toss in things that your characters are up to? Things that they might not appreciate everyone knowing, but is something you definitely want everyone to know. You put in what you want known, and eventually that week Izzy would make a post blabbing about it. The frequency of the posts would probably depend on how much and how often the submission post is used, but I would try to keep things fairly up to date.

Izzy does her best to verify facts through whatever means necessary to insure honesty before she blabs, cause that's her number one priority, but if plot purposes needed plausible sounding rumours.... `3`

I am still not entirely sure how I would set it up yet, but I figured I would see what people thought!

Wow, I've been wanting something like this for so long! \o/ Simply because what's a school setting without gossip and rumors?!

Sweet sweet drama tbh lol

When I was in WR, there was a bi-weekly, or monthly column with random gossip and rumors about the school and the denizens! It made for such awesome openings in threads, plots, and flourishing ideas at times! It was great!

Like maybe there's a tumor mill and then the gossip stones add to them, sometimes less truthful than always.

GOSSIP STONES?

I was thinking again about a Gossip Stone post where Gossip Stones around campus spread rumors about everyone, but I'm not sure how to pull it off.

Maybe one person or a couple people write "gossip" for every character. But I don't feel knowledgeable or clever enough to do it for everyone by myself... hmm.

Or maybe we have a submission post where everyone anonymously contributes gossip for characters other than their own.

Or we just find a random gossip generator and have people use it on their own characters. (Does such a thing exist?)

The gossip could be stuff like "They say that _____ sleeps with a teddy bear!" or "They say that _____ doesn't wear underwear!" other somewhat embarrassing rumors for all to hear. Probably similar to the format of the stuff they say in the game.

Anyway, what do you guys think?

GROUNDHOG DAY

Okay so one of my friends from another game mentioned "that holiday in February" on Plurk, and my mind immediately jumped to Groundhog Day instead of that other February holiday.

Now, we could honor that with our dear NPC Resetti or we could do yet another CRAZY time shenanigan plot. Because I love time travel and time shenanigans, okay?????

Obviously I'm talking about the 1993 movie Groundhog Day, which is pretty much associated with the holiday. What would happen? Well obviously certain people who could elect in would be stuck in a time loop that could last, oh... two weeks maybe? Or longer or shorter depending, and it would really drive them crazy. That might be hard to plot out sadly, but the backlogs could be set up for like a week or something, idk.

I'm sorry I just love time shenanigans okay. I want to be Doc Brown when I grow up.
