GAME PLOTTING

<b>Player:</b> <b>Idea:</b> This can be anything from "cafeteria food fight" to "campus-wide murder mystery". No idea is too big or small. Find interested parties, work out details, decide on when/where/how/why together! Just remember anything really huge should be run by the moderators real quick. Use your best judgement; things like hijacking the PA system, minor to moderate property destruction and brawls don't need mod approval, but things like exploding buildings and mass-death should get approval.

GOALS & DIRECTIONS: Hey, some of us have been here a really long time and might not know what direction to take our characters in anymore, or maybe you've been here only a few days and don't know where to start. There's no better time to start than now, so don't be afraid to express what things you'd like to do with your characters, regardless if it's something that might happen in the near future or a long ways away. Fall in love? Fall out of love? Graduate? Experience what it's like to be the opposite gender? An animal? In the body of someone else? Save the world? Try to destroy it? The more other players are aware of what you want to do, the better your chances are of making your wishes into reality!

THIRD PARTY SUGGESTIONS: Suggest new CR or character ideas, even if it has nothing to do with your own characters. Just put a "THIRD PARTY SUGGESTION" in the title of your comment when you browse the Character Plotting threads, and who knows? Maybe you just suggested a great interaction or idea no one has ever thought of before. And don't forget to spread the love around with as many people as you can so everyone gets a suggestion or two!

A few ground rules:

1. You don't HAVE to accept every offer that comes your way. Accept offers you are interested in, and politely say no to ideas you do not like.
   
2. An offer does NOT guarantee a log or plot development between your characters. Please remember that.
   
3. The final decision about which offers to accept or reject goes to the original poster of the request.

Idea:
I've been saying this for a while and it's usually in some form of a joking manner. While I don't necessarily have it fleshed out or greatly detailed, I've been wanting an invasion by the grotesqueries. It could be through the portals that they have in FDC, which might result in a temporary closure after they get rid of the flying babies.

I understand it's a bit on the grim side and may be too heavy for some people to take, so definitely an opt-in sort of deal. (Anyone not involved quite easily have either used the portals to go back home prior to the invasion. Or they also could have hidden in the dorms or something. The grotesqueries don't seem to be smart enough to open doors or windows.)

Notably, it'd be a good chance for me to shamelessly self-plug Caim's 'redemption' into it since he'd be the only one to really know how to handle the situation, but even without him being involved, I'd still like to see something of this nature come about.

SAMUS: Is going back to the teacher grind (maybe that class log will finally happen???) and has a gift list/post up and you should check it out because everyone got ugly sweaters otherwise she is probably going to be on the down-lo and hang out in backdate/kissletoe land for a bit. Unless drug investigations require her presence, playing that by ear.

RICK: Is going to be a human (bedroomblackbelt) for the rest of the month at least because there's SO MUCH I WANT TO DO. So much. So if you would like an awkward, manly blonde scruffy grumpy guy who likes ladies and adventures and is still learning that human bodies have needs like sleeping and clothes, Rick is your dude.

SETH: Is going to continue being an evil mastermind drug overlord and work towards things alluded to in this post, and cause civil discord and unrest. I REALLY WANT TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN. Goals & Directions: X is right now really starting to figure out what he wants to do with his life, and he's starting to kind of come into his own skin and find direction. I guess what I'm hoping with him is that he can just have a myriad of new experiences (or expansions of old ones), to broaden his horizons a bit.

Seeking: Uhh all the stuff from last month + the month before... I was kinda slow for December in general, oops. What I'd really like to do this month is have at least one big huge serious character development kind of thread for each character. Of course a lot of silly fluff threads are welcome on top of those. Maybe a fight log.

For Aque I'm thinking something along the lines of either finally stopping ignoring the fact that she is a timeline anomaly and will never see home again, or else feeling conflicted about the whole humanization thing before trying it out for herself. Also blah blah shamanism whatever. Who wants unarmed dueling in tabards?! It is a WoW staple, fight me.

Ishimaru already has kind of a Serious Issue being discussed with Chihiro right now so who knows how that will... end... Besides that, he's definitely going to have an interest in drugs. I mean by trying to stop this lollipop business and spread awareness and crap. Any way to dig himself a little deeper into that mess is good. Also STUDYING TELEVISION AND GAMES like a normal person!! Or trying to be one and failing. Actually it would also be a glorious trainwreck if someone convinced him that since Smash is a Fighting School a spar is mandatory at least once.

Mary either needs some threat of her secret being exposed or else for FGO II to get underway so she can be an active but sneaky participant. Or something. Also making friends, enemies, generally being a little brat. Learning how to be a little more normal. Something. SPEAKING OF DRUG PLOTS THOUGH she's still selling.

I enjoyed the times Knuckles and Aque have interacted - if she was interested in Humanization he could totally help her track down an item or something in the city and they can lament Human-Nonhuman politics in the city too.

I also enjoy Knuckles and Ishimaru - if you wanted someone to spar with him I could see that happening, along with investigation/security club times.

CAIM is ready to get his voice back. I once had this plan that we'd have this game event come up where Caim had the opportunity to put the people at the academy before himself and some reward would be him obtaining his voice. I would still like to do this. He's also to be discreetly helping Knuckles and Mac with the investigation on Charlise's murder case.

NABOORU is getting prepared to adopt Pit as her son. (Or already has. Or something. I'm not sure.) A class log should probably be done in the future. Other than that and some infinitely pending Zelda-central plot, I don't really have anything planned with her and feel a bit stuck. Suggestions would be appreciated.

SNAKE wants all the ladies. Please come to class. Please smack Snake when he gets out of line. Please form a line for dating the handsome man. Don't really have any definitive plans. I guess right now, he's kind of the butt of many jokes.

SORYK is secretly using his students as guinea pigs for poisons he's developing. He has plans of spreading this about the entire academy eventually. What he could use is some CR that would break him a bit out of his 'I am a high class elf and you are not' shell. Pretty much open to suggestions on the Soryk front.

VOILE is the girl going on dates/not-dates with every boy. I'm pretty okay with continuing this pathway, too. If you have boys/men who like sweet, mature girls, please come right this way. In other news, she's working on the contest hall and it should probably be a workable thing come spring 2013.

In general, I don't really have a direction for most of my characters, so I'm literally open to everything. Good CR. Bad CR. Et cetera.

ELI is ??? Other than having a questionable relationship with Snake and also going around and starting fights with sexy ladies, she doesn't have much direction at the moment. What is Eli doing?

He's spending most of his free time either training or memorizing the layout of the place in case he needs to make a hurried escape someday or something.

...also he is very bad at biology. Like, he is practically supernaturally bad at it. So that class is probably going to have the worst-taught students ever.

PERSONALLY, the last 2-3 months have been Hell, but what else is new? I'm trying to get back on my feet and do some more, but I really thank everyone for always being so patient with me and my health/work situations. THAT SAID, LET'S SEE...

Sonic is just about open for anything. The only things I can think of that he has right now involve harassing the shit out of Shadow, so basically nothing new there. I'd like to get him some more CR since he's so friendly and I realized he hasn't really poked enough people. (I'm going to be aiming to tag out more with him.)

Evve is kind of a mess, but you wouldn't know it, I suppose. She keeps to herself. She thinks she's responsible for what happened to Charlise (she doesn't know it for sure, but her notes were a bit of a trigger for it) so Evve's a tad more sensitive around the drug/murder situation going on. She's not as knee-deep into the investigation as everyone else is, but she's doing a lot of thinking on the matter. I'd like to go further with this. (Everyone wants a miserable Evve.)

Vivian isn't up to much! I pretty much play her to be my easy character and she can do just about anything if you don't mind creepy staring and inappropriate social behaviors while being incredibly polite. With a gun. Sometimes aimed at you. Not always...

I definitely have an interest in getting some CR between Sable and Furiae. I have this idea that Furiae will be wanting to learn things that might be -- useful, and home economics was really a ping with me. And with Sable giving people hats and gloves at Christmas, I was thinking of Furiae maybe approaching Sable with an interest in learning to sew and that...?

Idk if that's helpful at all. To speak about Furiae, she's quiet and polite - speaks when spoken to, probably asks for help if she needs it. Gets on with her work without much trouble. I'd love to maybe have some small things with her and Sable, even if they're only really small action things that don't go on for long. If that makes sense?

I don't know your other characters though, but I'd be happy to talk about them too, for Furiae or my other characters. \o/ I roleplay a jolly Mareep, a single-minded Scizor, aaannd a Red that's uhhh quiet, but pleasant and okay with talking to people UHH. A+ DESCRIPTIONS OF THE YEAR

Also I want to continue playing around with spirit medium related things, so hey all you ghosts out there! And I am open to more ideas so BRING IT.

Seeking: For all of my dudes, I'm really looking to develop pre-existing CR but to develop new relationships between them and people who are interested in doing so. Chili will probably quiet down a little bit while I get Ron and Ulki out there - I'd really like for Ron to get involved in some plots or what have you, while Ulki has just returned and I'm looking to get some new CR for him (since a lot of his old CR is gone). Any of my dudes & plotting is EXACTLY WHAT I WAAAANT give me what you have. Also: Milimili is still totally there to victimize people...!
Goals & Directions: Relatively the same as before. Ulki is just learning more about the school at the moment; I'll be posting his intro soon. Perhaps after this month, he'll have a direction.

Falcon is truckin' along. I'd like to get football started back up if that's a thing people desire? WE COULD HAVE A GAME AGAIN?? ALSO HE IS THE AUTOSHOOPS TEACHER NOW so hopefully a class is a thing that will happen.

Zelda is going around doing RA things. As Sheik, she's managed to commandeer an entire box of lollipops (Kat please correct me if I am wrong), which might put us a step further to finding the source of these diabolical candies. I could jumpstart things with a network post if anyone is interested?

Wheatley is a peoples and has spent most of December being a library hobo (library log???). He'll be like this for about another month or so. If anyone wants to help him figure out some of this human bidness, that is a thing we could do.

So. I've got some dudes...

We have made plans for some cupidbotting for Falcon and Snake! (I said I wouldn't forget!) While this is in pending for February, I simply wish to see some lovely 'friendly' competition between the two.

I talked with you recently about Zelda and Soryk, but I'll talk about it some more because I really like the idea of these two so far! I definitely see Soryk warming up to Zelda and actually warming up. (What a concept.) I would really love to work on these two with you.

Also on the Zelda field, and I have said this many times, Nabooru should... probably talk with her fellow Sage. Since that is a thing that has not happened yet. I resolve to make this happen in a way that it does not appear forced, so I will attempt to work on that.

Voile is the only one of my kidlets who has met Wheatley, and now he is a real boy. With the idea of humanisation, she'd be happy to lend a hand or chatter or whatever it is smart core-turned-humans would like to do. Not dates clearly.

Seeking: Meeting new people, developing CR, maybe nothing too heavy right now though.
Goals & Directions:

Furiae: My goal right now with her is to maybe get her speaking around more. I would be fine with maybe having her talk to some of the people she's spoken to before. She's kinda private, but right now after certain things, she wants to try and be more... sociable. I don't want to do any heavy plots with her or anything like that, nooor want any trouble or anything. Just maybe simple things? SIMPLE THINGS FOR A SIMPLE ME.

I'd be up for discussing how she and a character might get talking, if that's an issue.

Lyra's Scizor: She is getting to know people and getting to hit people. It's cool. I wouldn't mind having her get to know more people - maybe again, looking to go soft...? Unless you want to do some fighting, then Lyra's Scizor is your Scizor. also her name is flynn.

Definitely up for her interacting again with those she's interacted with before.

Gold's Mareep: Gold's Mareep is BUGGING EVERYONE. She is Maisy. I would like for her to bug more people and get her nose stuck in everywhere. Right now she's becoming SMART thanks to being introduced to Gordon Freeman and the alphabet, and. well there's no point to me saying that other than I can.
She's jolly-natured, curious and fun - not a total spazz or anything, she's considerate that not everyone is all happy and cheery and would probably stick around even not the most cheery of figures (she's the sort who would even sit there and be quiet as she watches your character Do Their Thing)

He's got amnesia issues, team issues, everything issues. And at some point he's going to get Char issues. yes.

Though I get that kind of thing too. I think that probably it just takes a while to really find your feet and playing them to figure out how you best feel you're showing a character with what you know (since I know Pokemon game characters only have so much). I might be something where just having some more threads here and there will help you. And those can always be discussed! I've actually sort of been thinking about maybe suggesting a thread with Cilan and Furiae??
