GREETINGS, SMASH ACADEMY! I AM DR. ROBOTNIK, THE GREATEST SCIENTIFIC GENIUS IN THE WORLD!! NO THAT NAME IS LAME! MY NAME IS DOCTOR ALBERT WILY! AND I HAVE A BIT OF A SURPRISE FOR YOU ALL!!

Okay I'm not doing that the whole post. But there's been a change this year for valentine's day. Instead of Cupidbots, Wily has found Robotnik's stuff while he's still floating in space and used it to create his greatest invention: CUPID MAN! On February 14th, he will release the robot in the school at night (since that morning it was busy causing havoc at Capcom High). The cupidbeam is bright pink and not capable of doing any real harm. It, however comes with a series of effects -- they implant a small microchip that messes with the body's hormones. When you sign up you have the chance of making it the traditional love beam that makes them fall in love with the first person, and amuse and subject yourself to the LOVE ROULETTE, a series of passion and passionless effects. The beam only has a charge that will last 24 hours, so the effect will wear off on February at night 15th, but for the rest of Valentines Day, expect plenty of temporary absurd pairings and crazy effects!

LOVE BEAM EFFECT ROULETTE:
1- Comfort: You want to comfort the person...even if they are feeling fine. Strong motherly/fatherly instincts take over
2- Slow & Sensual: Suddenly, you are every walking cliche. You want to throw your coat at the rain at your love interest, you speak in your deepest, more desireable voice and you eat fruits very slowly.
3- Romance: What does romance mean to you? Each person is different, but candles, sweets, sugars...everything to woo your day love
4- Milkshake: Reverse effect! YOU become the object of desire to anyone who passes close to you. Be it other characters, NPCS...even the birds and the bees. You may want to coop yourself up somewhere.
5- Sense of Decency goes Kaput: NAKED IN THE SCHOOL AWW YEAH!!! Goodbye sense of shame, hello love and crown of flowers...and not much else.
6- It can never be: After being shot, your convinced, CONVINCED the first person you see wants you BADLY. However, you know this can never happen. It's just the universal truth. No matter how much they might not actually like you, you go around reminding them how you can never be with them.
7- Obsession: Oh other person. No one else can have you. They are all for you. You will chase them to the ends of the earth and lock them up just for you. (please play this comically)
8- Hands don't go there: Uh you can't seem to control your hands anymore and they just want to touch the other person a lot. In places they would not normally let you and...WOOHA bad hands!
9- The baby the baby: Forget romance, you want a child. You want one now. No matter how it might not be feasible with the first person you see. CHILDREN. NOW.

This year we'd like to make things a little more organized as well. We allow prepared pairings, or subjecting yourself to a random draw where we'll group people one after the other and cause crazy things.HOWEVER:

I figure it will work best if Raiden, Raikov and possibly Volgin have their WHATEVER HAPPENS happening first, then Raiden snaps out of it and has his WHATEVER HAPPENS happening with Blacky.

So if I can be a special snowflake and have the beam charge only lasting half time, or Raiden gets one beam a day early and the other beam on V-Day, or Raiden is unafflicted for his first encounter or vice versa or something.

Or we'll work something else out. I'm greedy and want both that's all SOB.
