The Long-Awaited Activity Check

ACTIVITY CHECK

Comment with your name, character, character journal, character canon, and links to activity samples.

WHAT COUNTS AS ACTIVITY?

• A post or thread in smashacademy, smash_logs, or tegaki. Activity that occurs over AIM, in journals, musesboxes, or outside of that will NOT count, even if it is Smash-related. What you can do however, is copy that over into one of the acceptable places. For tegaki, it needs to be an actual log and not a for-funsies drawing.

• If it's a post, a single post will do, regardless of the comments it receives, or lack thereof. If you can get us samples that have comments though, we'd prefer that.

• If it's a thread, we're looking for at least 6 comments from you. (So 12 comments if they are talking to someone, and they cannot be 1-2 word exchanges, or icon chains. We need to see your character's voice!) It can be 6 comments in a single thread, or 6 total spread throughout different threads.

• You may provide more than one link if you feel it'll help you pass AC, so long as they fall within the time limits described below.

You must provide samples dated from December 14th, 2012 ~ February 04th, 2013. Log starting dates do not matter, so long as the TAG DATES fall within the relevant time. You must fill out Activity Check by February 04th, or your dude will get das boot. If your character was accepted after January 28th, you are not required to provide samples. However! If you want to, that's totally cool, and we'd prefer it if you at least say you're here so we don't accidentally overlook you.

If you're on a documented hiatus after December 28th (and before today's date), you are not required to sign or provide samples, but again, if you want to go the extra mile, or are able to at least check in, we'd really appreciate that.

We understand sometimes you're just not feeling a character or you're having a lack of inspiration, or maybe Real Life is really kicking your ass lately. If you're having trouble with a character, you can talk to any one of the mods and we'll be happy to listen. If you feel like you're character squatting but aren't sure what to do or aren't certain, discuss it with us and we'll do our best to help you come to a resolution. Letting go of a character is never easy, but we'd like to avoid character squatting as much as possible for the sake of our current and potential future players.

Pixle, all of your characters pass with the exception of Ganondorf. While we understand your attempt to keep his presence at the academy on the "down low," we find that you've had more than ample time to either write something as simple as a narrative entry, or to insert him discreetly into other scenarios within the time restraints we set the AC.

Although you were on a documented hiatus, it only covered the second half of January--your sample was from mid-December and was dropped after two comments, only to be picked up again yesterday. We do not consider this sufficient activity given the previous AC extensions given to Ganondorf. In conjunction with your previous behavior with Ganondorf, as a consequence we are dropping him with this AC and bar you from putting in an application for him again for the next six months (August 2013).
